from the vinyl LP Sacred Gems (1961/65) - The Rebels Quartet. While the LP was recorded and released in 1961 on the Sing label, this version is a re-release on the Canaan label in 1965. The Rebels at this time were: Horace Parrish, Lee Kitchens, John Matthews, London Parris and Jimmy Taylor.

I have wondered whether this could have been from a master cut while Jim Waites was singing the bass prior to his heart attack. London & Jim ere both great and this represents the Rebels as among the greatest of that era, Thanks for sharing it.
