If you like super quiet roads and a good mix between gravel and tarmac, I can recommend the area I was in last week. Uppsala in Sweden, it could be marketed to cyclists as a great destination. The temps were mostly 26 to 28, the terrain is pretty flat, with some small undulating hills and the farm tracks are outstanding. The Churches are exceptionally beautiful, I am not a religious person, but water can be obtained at everyone, mostly potable and free. A gravel bike would be ideal, or an 80's mtb for that matter and don't forget there are Runestones all over the place, what a place and its nextdoor.
Can you show a pic of your route at the end? I like your description but can't always picture it. I can't cycle like you guys but I like living through your wee stories. I got a bit lost. It sounded lovely! Thanks for filming the route. Well done for climbing with the bump and in heat. Baby has already done some miles! 😂 ALSO I personally liked you talking over the videos.
Thanks for the feedback Ash. Going for more chat rather than music as I’m hoping people find that more interesting so we will mixing things up to see what works. 😊☀️
Let’s hope so!! I’m so happy that I’m still managing to get out for long rides. Hopefully il be able to keep riding for as long as possible before I have to stop. That way il maybe keep a good fitness level up for getting back into things. Have you managed to enjoy the good weather?
Yeah if anything I’m doing too much 😵💫I just don’t like missing the good weather. I can’t recover like I used too when I was racing I do about 250 miles a week not bad for an old goat 🐐🤣
That’s amazing and in this heat!! I totally understand what you mean. When it’s sunny I like to be out in the sun all day. You never know when we will get weather like it again. ☀️☀️🚴🏼♀️
