I actually expected to see the dancing entities to notice the camera man. When they notice him, they suddenly freeze. The music stops as well. They stare at the camera man without moving. He starts breathing intensively. The camera shakes more. After a few more intense seconds, they start running towards him. He turns around and starts running. The video gets disrupted and ends.

This is scary. Think about it. Humans dance and make music, and it shows a higher level of intelligence. And yes some animals dance, but that's to attract a mate, not for fun. These entities were clearly not mating, they were having a time. I think they are smarter than we realize.

Some have theorized that they are simply defending their territory, which could be true, but I believe it could also be a deliberate trap. These entities would try to attract wanderer with the music, and when they see them harmlessly dancing, the wanderer would eventually let their guard down, and that's when the third one comes around.
Yup that's what I said too, a classic pack hunting strategy. They used a harmless looking activity familiar to a human as a distractor that makes you feel safe, then boom the other hunter comes up from behind. Kind of raptor-like.

I have been wanting to see this for a long time
i figured it would turn into horror by the end xD. great CGI very clean, especially with the camera movements.
i thought it was humorous too until i realized the dancing entities were children and then it became instantly terrifying.

As humorous as this is, it could totally be a serious piece of cannon mystique. The backrooms themselves are based upon human concepts of design, materials etc.
The fact that these creatures are there, they themselves would likely represent something of some sort of humankind.

@@JohnMicius that could work but i dont think it fits the overall aura too well. Its too straight forward and simple. I think they should be entities created within the world that represent various twisted and contorted attributes of human kind, just like the backrooms themselves are. The backrooms are human made dimensions and materials, stretched to all possible forms to some degree. Its human sense, twisted and deformed into nonsense.
It would make sense that the creatures would be some sort of form of that. a vague and disrupted representation of humanity.
to me anyway, just my opinion.

@@killgazmotron makes sense since the backrooms seem to be entirely about imitating our collective memories of common places that blur together, (i.e. liminal spaces), it would make sense that entities in these dimensions imitate the more human aspects of those places too, albeit poorly.
For example, imagine if entities in the backrooms mimicked what we all remember of random co workers and employees in every office space: Constantly walking from room to room or sitting at a random empty desk. Standing around like they're holding cups, having fake conversations, just doing things that look busy but fall apart upon close inspection.

he takes a lot of theories that have been around for awhile and are well known and calls it "his theory" hes done that many times. l like mattpatt but he dosent always have the right take on things. A good example of this is in the backrooms level 0 with the yellow rooms. the rooms are always changing always moving you can go down one hallway and turn around to see it changed and have different paths, so marking walls and making a path to see where you have gone dosent work (something he said to do) Also theres no resources in level 0 if you do find stuff its junk like crayons and pencil sharpeners (something else he said to do) mattpatts video on backrooms is about someone who knows nothing about the backrooms.

I’m of the firm belief that these entities of the backrooms (at least this level) aren’t inherently evil. If anything they might believe people who end up in the backrooms are invaders, wanting to take their home. I could be wrong, but I like to think about it.
actually people who are entering the backrooms (either on purpose or not) ARE invaders, since they merely come to the backrooms just to make it into storage and housing for people.
