    How many hours did you work on it (inclusive sanding).
    I for my person find music in this case disturbing

    That’s an impressive slab! The grain is insane! I like the choice of bow tie too.

      Isn't it crazy? I was very fortunate to be included in this exhibition and so lucky to have gotten such a remarkable slab to work with. I was very happy that the spalted bow tie worked out for me as the grain was very soft and brittle. A lot can be said for sharp tools. Thanks for watching!

    Beautiful piece
    But I must ask doesn’t that combination of wood finish, cause yellowing over time?

    • @zumkellerwoodshop4224
      @zumkellerwoodshop4224  8 месяцев назад

      Yes it does. Any oil will yellow over time but how much you notice it depends on the wood it was originally applied to. It's been several years hanging on the wall and still looks like the day it was made. I think that's in part to the crazy grain pattern of this piece. Thanks for watching the videos! I really do appreciate it.

    I so despise music on these videos... I would rather hear the scratching of the pencil than that stupid repetitive waste of energy.
