Deondre was tough as hell. I have so much respect for him playing through his pain.
Deondre Francois. D12. One of the toughest we've ever had at QB. PERIOD. An FSU Graduate. 27 year old man, addressing everything you might say. And he's still playing football professionally this Spring in the UFL. DC Defenders. Nothing but respect Dirtie. 🔥
Good to see 12 having a positive attitude on his life. He won some big games for FSU and nobody can deny that.
Deondre deserved better than what he got while he was here. Really wish we could've gotten him a better O line
Really happy that I can finally hear his perspective of everything.
You do not understand how good it is to Deondre Francois? I was in the stand for the Ole Miss game sitting on the Ole Miss side, literally a couple of seats from the tuba players. That first half was hard. The second, so much joy.😂😂😂
My city does not have a UFL team, however I searched the entire league's roster to find what team Deondre Francois was on. I'm now a Defenders fan, only because of Francois. When he played with the Seminoles he was THE superstar on that team. I only wish him the best.
FRANCOIS THA GAWD!!! Was a huge fan during his tenor, with how tough shit was back then. he really held it down and kept my love for fsu football alive.
I always liked this guy. Sucks that he had to endure so much at a young age, God bless you man!
Great interview Javien, look forward to more. Deondre, you showed some great maturity and composure in answering the difficult questions, much props to you and wish you all the best in your pro football career. One recommendation for Deondre when football is over, not sure what you're college degree is in but try getting into work for a bank/insurance company, in their back office. Very good benefits, compensation, and stable career overall with a competitive environment. It hurt hearing you talk about your odd jobs when there were other, more reasonable opportunities that could've gotten you by during your off field time.
Biggest FSU fan but I just realized Deondre Francois was Jordan Travis before Jordan Travis. Both tough dudes that loved FSU and it didn't quite end the way it probably should have.
First time checking out this channel. I’m subscribing now…
DF12 was a beast man, he got screwed over. Thank you for all you did for FSU. May you be blessed in life.
Thank you Javien, excellent host and good questions allowing Deondre to tell his story (up to now). Very enlightening and for a lot of us nole fans Deondre brought clarity and understanding to the table. You are correct that God has a plan and his plan is always better than our plan. Wish you the very best Deondre and thank you. Nice hosting Javien and look forward to seeing future stories.
I was at work and I thought where was this player and came on RUclips and this was the 1st video I saw.. Lovely story so sad Bro didn’t make it to the league such a talented player.
Great interview. Great person that I met during his time in Tally. Good to hear him publicly tell his story
Respect to both of you
fire interview glad Francois could get his story/perspective out
Great interview! I hold a MBA working as a security guard and so I know he knows his worth as well. It’s call Life, but it’s all in how you press through and respond. Good luck on your journey Dirtie.
What a great interview!!!!!! I loved hearing his side of the final FSU days. I'm glad he learned from all the down parts of his life and still persevered in his career. I hate that he was so unhappy with his life at one point but it made him who he is. I got to see him play against Notre Dame and it was something else.
