I love Surrealistic Pillow , particularly the Marty Balin tracks Today & Coming Back To Me.
Wow Larry..you picked some of the great albums of all time..1/Surrealistic Pillow 2/Venus and Mars 3/ Music From Big Pink 4/Cosmos Factory 5/ Diamond Dogs 6/Parachute..they are all 9.5 to 10/10…
Tough list there Larry, a bunch of legit classic albums there. You have the same two Pretty Things albums I have. My top three of those would be:
1 - Music from Big Pink
2 - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
3 - Diamond Dogs
Four and five would be Cosmo's Factory and Venus and Mars. Johnny Cash's album has a real otherworldly, eerie quality to it, and as much as I love it I have to be in the right mood to hear it. It's not an easy listen.
Aside from the playout version of No More Lonely Nights, I find Give My Regards to Broadstreet to be decent listen. I do play it more than Pipes of Peace. Ringo refused to play on The Beatles remakes. So the joke in the movie had Ringo looking for his brushes while Paul played a Beatles medly. Cosmo's Factory, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and Music From Big Pink would all score 10s with me.
Black Sabbath’s Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs, Creedence Clearwater Revivals’ Cosmo’s Factory, and Paul McCartney & Wings’ Venus and Mars are all great! Hope you had a Merry Christmas.👍

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Diamond Dogs, Cosmo's Factory, Parachute, Surrealistic Pillow, Music from Big Pink and American V: The Man Comes Around
I really liked the movie give my regards to broad street
Surrealistic Pillow would be number one for me as Jefferson Airplane is my favorite band. I'd follow that with Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Cosmos Factory at #3.
I would need someone else to pick the CDs for me if I were to do this. I know what I have and where they are.
It's funny, I really only give albums a 10/10 if they are in my top ten haha. I've never listened to Give My Regards to Broad Street haha, though I know a few of the cuts. I love that Cash series, they're all incredible. Venus and Mars is one I prefer slightly over Band on the Run.

Give My Regards To Broadstreet wasn't a bad movie Larry but I think Paul being a famous musician forgot that he had to have some decent music in the movie,he made the movie and then realized he didn't have enough good material and so brought out his own old stuff and redid them which was a really weird thing to do,he should of held back releasing the movie until he'd written enough good material and then released the movie,bringing back the old stuff as good as the new versions were was kind of lame and a very bad move.
