- This was one of our most anticipated days of the trip! We couldn't wait to visit Plopsaland so we could experience Ride to Happiness, a MACK Rides Extreme Spinning Coaster with a reputation for being one of the craziest rides in the world!

Insane prices? Yes, that must be Plopsaland. The prices for their food and drinks are notorious.

Dude, you guys still have it pretty normal for a theme park. Do you really think you have it expensive over there? Go to a Six Flags park and have fun trying to buy a water bottle under 4 or 5 dollars as iv spent over $6 on one.
I advise you to take a suite in the hotel though... I did that in February and we payed around €200,- / person for 2 days park + Plopsaqua with both breakfast and dinner (and the dinner is good! Not just fries, but very varied!) And the minibar was included, so you had 5 cans of soda to take with you into the park.

Ride to Happiness looks relentless. I can’t believe a “family park” hosts that coaster. I really hope they add more throughout the world! I still really want to try Time Traveller
Edit: just finished the vlog! this was one of my faves for sure. what east coast park do you all think should get one of the Mack spinners? I think one would be really fitting at Kings Dominion or Dollywood or even!
Lech Coaster fits very well in this category as well. 😅

Thank you guys. This Ride to Happiness was every bit as great as stated. We did a dozen rides over 2 days. And it was a walk-on. And yes I bought a T-shirt....The first inversion after the second launch... WOW.
I have literally been watching this whole series waiting for THIS video, and it did not disappoint. Don't get me wrong, I am loving all of the other parks, but I really wanted to see your reaction to Ride to Happiness. I am never going to get to go to this park, so I am living vicariously thru you guys. I am so jealous, but glad you really liked it.
I can't wait to hear ya'lls full review on RTH!! After my first lap, I actually found myself on the brake run questioning if it was my new #1 over voyage (RTH is now my #2). Also, you all have to get night rides on it one day!!
Edit: In 2025, apparently Holiday Park is getting a Tomorrowland themed area and will be anchored with a Mack Extreme Spinner. Please someone in the U.S. build one of these!!
FYI, Holiday Park in Germany is owned & operated by Plopsa.

Yes, Holiday Park will get a Tomorrowland-Area in 2025 but it is still not confirmed what kind of attraction they will build. For sure it will be a big one but according to the Holiday Park Fanday in october 2022 they have three different options from different manufactories right now.
I think this might be my favorite Coaster Studios video yet. Like Stefon from SNL, this video has everything! Inexplicable mushroom people! Bizarre detention themed lines! Matt's irrational fear of water rides! Too many waffles packed into a container! AND...the insane editing during your delirious RIDE TO HAPPINESS experiences!
The reason SuperSplash is not on RCDB, is because unlike other Mack SuperSplashes, it only has a drop and a bunny hill. This is something many log flumes also feature. Others of it's kind often feature a backwards section, or some other kind of coaster section.
I experienced the same thing: you cannot overhype ride to Happiness because no matter what you expect, it will blow you out of your seat to the power of 6 regardless
I’m just saying, a Mack extreme spinner would fit very nicely in Vortex’s barren spot at Kings Island.

Studio 100 (A Belgian company that produces children tv series owns a bunch of parks in Europe (including this and Holiday Park), The division that owns the parks is called the Plopsa Group, after two of their series (Gnome Plop and Samson & Gert) They theme most of their rides around these characters (e.g. Anubis, Bumba, Pete Pirate or Heidi) They do this in similar fashion to Disney or Universal, but obviously on a smaller scale.
The ultimate question: Ride to Happiness or Eejenaika?
Ride to Happiness is one of those rides where you immediately kind of dread the moment you're leaving because you know you'll miss it. Amazing video, all those reactions are giving me goosebumps!
I don't know why but this was one of my favorite video's of the Europe trip you guys have posted. Keep up the great vids and thanks for letting some of us who might not get the chance to do this live vicariously through you!
I bet if Cedar Point removes Corkscrew, they may replace it with their own version of Ride To Happiness. That ride fits in perfectly with the element of thrills they love to offer.

The only reason RCDB Does not include the super splash is that according to their rules it has to include the dip before the main drop for them to consider it a coaster

I'm currently planning a 2 week trip to Europe this fall and after watching this I decided to build in a side trip in our itenerary just to check out RTH.
Yeah, we need one of those XSCs at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Give it a real cheeky name like Happy Hippo or Dung Beetle. It doesn't need a cool sounding name.

Great video! Ride to Happiness looks so good! The prices at this park are ridiculous though even for clothes. It surprised me seeing a Pizza Hut there. The water rides there looked really fun!
So, there is actually a whole lot of controversy around the prices at Plopsaland De Panne. They are indeed ridiculous. They are indeed the highest in Europe. Interestingly enough, Plopsa officials even said they want to increase prices more. I guess you can do that when literally all kids in a country watch the same shows made by the same company (Studio 100 makes a whole lot of kids shows and puts attractions based on these shows at Plopsaland). Sadly,, this increase in prices is a sign for other parks to do the same. All food and drinks at all the Belgian themeparks are ridicilously expensive.
Another point I want to elaborate is the theming on the Log Flume. A couple years back, it was themed to "The castle of king Samson". "Samson and Gert" was a kids show made by (you guessed it, Studio 100, together with Gert Verhulst, the guy that made studio 100 a thing and basically became really rich because of it) and for some reason, they thought that dragons, dino's and an alpine village all next to each other made more sense. If you ask me they completely ruïned the feel and intention of the area for a stupid theme that has nothing to do with the actual park or actual thematic zones.
So glad you loved RTH. I haven't heard 1 negative review. My unrivaled number 1

I had never heard of Ride to Happiness or the music festival it's associated with, but they look awesome! I heard of this park because I watched a walkthrough of Plopsa Coo and it looked very pretty. I haven't watched your videos in a while but seeing one always make me want to catch up with your others, this made me want to watch your other vlogs from your European tour.
Food Lion's parent company is Delhaize, the grocery store you guys visited. Hence the same logo for both. Also, I'll be at the Tomorrowland winter festival in Alpe d'Huez, France in March! It's the ultimate festival for EDM and skiers/boarders.

The coasters (except for ride to happiness ) are themed towards tv shows for kids from belgian television (studio 100 and ketnet)
I went wednesday, we didnt have any wait times. We didnt need to wait, we could get immediatly on and stay as much times as u want. Went on heidi 12 times and rth 4 times😍👍
Tomorrowland is also known for being very expensive.

I feel like I haven't been as impressed with Ride to Happiness as others. The fault has to be with me 🤣 It's a ten out of ten ride, of course, and the forces are insane. But I didn't feel like I never knew what was going on or got particularly disorientated. It's absolutely a top 10 coaster in Europe for me as of right now. But I can't personally say top 5. But hey, that's the beauty of people having different preferences. I still loved the ride a frickin ton

I went to Silver Dollar city 2 months ago and rode time traveler at least 15 times. It is now my number 1 coaster and I wish I could go back and ride it. If Ride to Happiness is anything like Time Traveler, then I want to get on it so bad. My home park is Kings Island and I think one of these Mack Extreme spinners would be perfect considering that we don't have a spinning coaster in our lineup. Please Cedar Fair, bless Kings Island with one of these, I'm begging you.

I went to Plopsaland this past April and RTH was running one train due to the incident which happened prior. We had to wait over two hours per ride, so we only got two….
Kinda fun hearing random songs from my childhood in the Netherlands (Ja ik weet ook wel dat het Vlaams is maar ze lieten het ook op Nederlandse TV zien)
I usually don't look at videos entirely that are out of the country of the USA but I thoroughly enjoyed this whole video.

Ride to Happiness is the perfect coaster for me. There is nothing i can critizise or that i wish for. Same goes for F.L.Y which follows on my #2 Spot, RtH is just even more fun

Ride to Happiness is my 2nd favourite only behind Shambhala, though my credit count is a putrid 18, so that may change.
Ride to happiness is fantastic, but I believe Kondaa is even better ;-) If Kondaa had trains with spinning cars, it would be dangerous, haha! When we go to Plopsaland De Panne, we always stay overnight (not the Plopsaland Hotel) and we never buy food or drinks at the park, just out of protest! Prices are ridiculous!!!
That 5 euro water annoyed me all day too. I think RTH is probably my second best Mack coaster after DC Rivals, however there are many other rides i'd rank above them. For me Zadra, Hyperion, Untamed, Kondaa and Taron were just better rides overall. I did get 7 rides on RTH, but it felt very shaky with a distinct rattle/vibration that took away from the fun for me unfortunately. Also, don't miss the WELT doco "Pure Thrills" on RTH released recently. It's a must watch for any RTH fans.
