I think i was out this day, in Devon, it fished well in the end, it was easy pickings for the swifts and martins that day as well. levels and colour were still prime that day despite the wind and showers.
This would have been interesting if we would have understood your strategy. What length of your rods? Line weight? Reels used. All we saw was a lot of casting. Everything is more interesting with context.
