The conversation cliffhanger hit spot on!!! Stresses me the hell out. Just yelled at my brother for calling me 4 times in a row, no voicemail or text about why. I find a break in a meeting I was facilitating to call back and he only wanted to chat 🤬 I was panicking inside thinking a family emergency was happening.
I think sometimes when people do that, subconsciously they need to reach out, for the human connection and don't/cant articulate that need. On the flip, sometimes people sre annoying as hell.

I think you should go to the Watermelon Festival.
I personally don’t like watermelon but for an unusual reason. When my Mama had pancreatic cancer 💜, she craved it constantly both before and after her diagnosis. I would drive for miles to find it for her. My uncle even grew some out of season for her on his farm.
After she passed, I can’t stand to eat it; the last time I did, it instantly made me sad because my thought was “Mama would have loved this watermelon, it is so sweet.” Next thing, 😩🥺 I was in shambles, that was 10 years ago. I avoid it at all costs, it’s just my trauma response. 🤷🏾♀️
Go to the festival though, have a good time.

I had a procedure to have my heart looked at, and it was my first time for any anesthetic to put me to sleep for it. And i felt like i was in that space for a single song and next thing i knew i was there for 40 minutes, and was sleep in my room soon after 😅
