I thought that was a common joke that Ricky should have zig zagged. It is definitely common sense that he shouldn't have ran straight, especially since he was a football player.
It's an incredibly common joke. I remember hearing that joke on Comic View. Like Tony said, it's become even more common on the internet. And I really get the sense that this other comedian was just waiting for any excuse to jump down Tony's throat.
The Ricky bit has been done so many times and for years. Girl, stop.

The thing about observational comedy; is that the comedian is giving their opinion of a person/place/thing which others experience. So by nature, it's not realistic for anyone to claim dominion over a shared experience.
Every person who's ever played football looks at Ricky and is like "that's the one time he didn't run a zig zag route!".
🎯🎯🎯And then the exact thing happened in Game of Thrones, and that joke started all over again, complete with the Boyz in the Hood parallels. We are funny people and sometimes we get the same funny ideas and takes on the situation. That's how comedians build a community of fans.

I can only imagine how hard it is for comedians nowadays. The internet and social media has put everyone in the same house same room looking out the same window. So now everyones perspective is similiar and the jokes are revealing itself in same POV. Jokes and topics will sound close to the same.

Yea if she really wanted to resolve the problem she would have went directly to you. Not to everybody else convincing them you’re a bad person. You did more than necessary by reaching out to her and her goons. Innocent until proven guilty. People who make you guilty without any proof or any attempt to reconsider their stance only needed a reason to get them there. It may be a way of God removing her and everyone who believes her out of your way.

Tony I really like that you brought up that scene in Ferris Bueller. When I was younger and I saw that movie, I was captivated by that scene as well. I always imagined that, because Cameron didn't have a good relationship with his parents, that what he saw in that painting. A connection between family that he could not relate to and that he was yearning for. It made me kind of sad, because I did not have that connection with my father either? So I kind of related it to what I felt in my young mind that HE might have also been thinking in that moment. I thought that was really cool employment that you brought that up in the pod! Also double check to make sure that you don't have an inner ear condition if you're concerned about your balance. Have fun at the vow renewal! 🎉

The gripe about the flag is why I think k we should invest more in giving the Black American Heritage flag the recognition it deserves. Our people gave us a flag in the 60s so that we could rep being black Americans like the rest of the diaspora without the American flag. Hopefully it gets some more love. (It’s a cold design too)

Facts I get triggered by the American flag. Just got new neighbors and of course 1st thing they set outside when the 1st move in, that damn flag. I instantly took offense😒. It sucks, but it's a true feeling and also a true trama response as well.
I’ll be 39 next week. I was able to stand on one foot eyes closed for 50 secs on the right, 32 on the left
I was about 5 drinks in before I tried this body balance test 😅 Left leg - 28 seconds. right leg - 19 seconds
That test is waaaaaaaaay easier to handle if you keep your eyes open. I think the key to consistent success is knowing how to balance oneself without any visual references around.
For the record, my results were TRASH when I tried it with my eyes closed.
Isn't the point to have your eyes closed? Everyone would do better with eyes open.

I don't like that test...I get it. But some people have vertigo, agoraphobia, Orthostatic hypotension, medications. Etc... things like that can throw stuff off.
