Evo! Greetings. did you see JWE2 is now on NexusMods and there's a new better terrain tools and no building constraints mod. i haven't installed them yet because the game is new. im gonna wait a couple of days to install mods
@@thecarnagechannel4011 You have to be very fiscally conservative - I was constantly running out of $$$ at first, you just have to act prudently and focus on quickly opening the parks.
Indoraptor : I am the updated APEX PREDATOR, I will breakout of this heavy electrified fence and kill you al- Oh is that a bunch of rocks, aw hell nah imma stay in here
Thought- you could probably use this even in Challenge Mode, though in a different way. You could have Triceratops and Stegosaurus on opposite sides of an exhibit if the rocks are too small for them to get through, with small herbivores like pachies or struthies happily wandering between them and letting you use your exhibit space very efficiently, for example.
7:00 You can also put them in the water to make it look like there are lots of little rocks, same for the spino skull and the ones with the plants, it adds even more customisation possibilities
This is so great, I HATE That all the fences now are electric. I never used electric in any mode in the first game so at least this helps a little with the lack of fence types.
The last highest grade fence isnt electric and it can withstand storms much more easily, it's not stormproof but for frequent storm areas it's a great option.
My discovery lives on. The rock fences return. I remember when I discovered that this worked in JWE and I’m glad they return now, and even better now since Compies and other small dinosaurs can be contained properly by them.
This makes total sense from a comfort standpoint... The decorations aren't true fences, so technically the enclosures are wide open, giving them the potential for larger territory... If one can make this work tightly in the first game you would never have fences getting busted down.... I will be messing with this idea in both games a bit... Thanks!
I want them to add a crane feeder for the large carnivores its the one from the movie the crane that dispenses a piece of meat for the indominus rex it basicly has the same function as the shark feeder
Wow! With those rocks you can create a huge wild park with carnivores just rocky-enclosed, so they won't attack herbivores and also themselves. And the last one is excellent!
Hi Evo, been loving your JWE2 content lately, just watched you finish the campaign (I just had 2 paddocks, one for Dilos, and the other with Allosaurus and Metrias as they can get along) and now working hard on research in San Diego. Not even gotten 20 seconds into this video but got a feeling I will like what I see. Talking of that, have you seen the teaser trailer for Camp Cretaceous season 4 yet? :)
Random guy: You dont use glass? You know, so you can see the dinosaurs? Construction company in JWE: What?! you mean like they do in Zoo's? Theres no way that would work! Madman! Random guy: So whats the alternative? Construction company: See that low planting area?
So glad we can do this, not just for our sake, but also the dinosaurs- i mean, if i were in their dino-shoes, i'd much rather this than huge metal fences and concrete walls! Can't wait to try this out!
Makes perfect sense, raised terrain and moats to keep the dino's in and visible. Obviously there's some shock wire / grass in there like real zoos do and the big ones just get zapped on their fancy JW implants whenever they get too close. The implant goes into shielded mode and doesn't zap when they hit the already electrified fence, to prevent it from shorting out. So the dino's have learned to bash fences when angry, as they don't sting as much in the sensitive bits. Which mostly tends to lead them away from guest areas, so management feels it's a win win at no additional spending.
This is a great tip. Also love what you did with the guest areas near the enclosures. Helps accentuate what this tip means for your parks. Also shows that the game allows you to make areas that feel like a real tourist attraction. Finally. Only took a few years and an entirely new game
Hi Evo! I have two questions. So does this not frighten the guests? You would think that without the fences the game would still register the dinosaurs as threats even though they can’t physically reach them. Second question. Do guests still need viewing platforms to observe them if you do it this way?
Hey Evo! There’s a couple mods on Nexus for this game already- including a free build mod that removes hit boxes. Made by the same guy who did it in the first game & it works great
I've been on the first Jurassic Park chaos theory for 3 days...you have to research EVERYTHING before you complete it in order to get everything for sandbox mode. Make sure to get every dinos genome to 100% before moving on to the next island, same with research.
Hi Evo ! I love this design idea and I am so happy to see another sandbox video but this time in JWE2! This minipark was awesome! It's simple but it's beautiful!!
These are great! The flowerbox wall on the acro enclosure looks a bit unsafe lol, but a rock wall behind it and maybe a moat in between would look almost like a real zoo!
Nice Video Evo. I'm currently playing through chaos theory mode, and i really struggle in the Jurassic-World Park and the original Jurassic-Park. Whenever i feel pretty confident with my park, suddenly a storm hits my park and every dinosaur (specially raptors) go wild which ends in me losing all my money. The chaos-theory missions on Isla Sorna B and Return to Jurassic World, were pretty easy tho.
There is seafood like redlobster, and then there is Seafood. And I love caviar and grilled salmon. Nice tips, what if you alter the terrain to make fences, is that possible? Example a pathway above and then alter the terrain to drop low like a swap, or does it still need an actual barrier
This is going to be sooooooo good for really interesting enclosure setups. And the trick from the first game where you can put the fence right up to the edge of the map and let that be a wall works here as well.
@@EvolutionSquare If you only use a gate that's the only thing you need to repair and watch out for in case of bad weather. Enclosing almost all territory with alternative fences should make your live a lot easier in case of breakouts..
This is gonna help out a lot especially with the whole ordeal with fuel and power consumption. I’d rather have fewer power stations in order to save money. This is also a great way for Dino’s to not escape which is a double win.
Does the first rock fence work on bigger dinosaurs then compys or is it just smaller dinosaurs? Also is it possible to make a whole perimeter of rocks around the dinosaurs or should u still use fences with them?
Dino gets unhappy bashes throw wall, ignores the tiny rock planters it can literally step over. 🤪 -- I hope they don't patch this out because it does add nice unique and natural looks to them.

So I watched someone else's video where he was trying to get a spino to fling raptors into a lagoon, but he was having a hard time getting them over the enclosure fence, this is a great way to make that happen...
Want to play sandbox so bad but still have 90% locked in challenge which is tedious as all hell, already having a burnout after finish chaos theory and moving in to challenge

You know what I wish they put in the sequel? Stairs. It's a little OCD of me, but it always bugged me that when there was different elevation in parts of my park, the only way up or down were hills.
These actually kind of break the game because you could put them in super small areas but the outside still counts as the dinosaurs territory so they can still be happy even if you make it super super small. So you could have a very very very tiny T Rex and closer if you felt like it. Because there is also no possible way for it to break out

Just a random question. But in the case of a storm or unhappy dino, do they still attack the wall or just break through the decor?
Hey, I was wondering if you could make it all rocks, so your raptors couldn’t technically jump over and so that storms can’t damage it
