At last this afternoon - Thursday - I managed to watch the Young Church perform their Nativity Play. It must be quite daunting for some of them to stand facing the congregation and give of their best but they did very well although the sound could have been better at times as I had difficulty hearing all the words. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and the costumes were lovely and I know a lot of hard work would be put into the production of such an event. It was good to go back to the beginning of the bible and gradually move to the birth of Jesus being celebrated at this time. The congregational singing was good and Rev. Stephen's prayer of thanksgiving and intercession was lovely too. Thank you to the live stream team for operating the controls and enabling those watching from home to join in the service. Every blessing on all in Kilbarchan Kirk - and of course Howwood - in the coming year. ♥️🙏♥️
