In one of our previous videos we showed our visit to Mercado 23 - and we really loved this market and our experience there. The link to that video is in the description below.
Today we are going to show you our visit to Mercado 28. It is a little bigger than Mercado 23, more fancy and colorful, and much more touristy.

How to get there:
If you are in the hotel zone, you can hop on the R2 bus; just tell the driver you want to get off at Mercado 28. Now, here's the tricky part-the bus stop isn't exactly at Mercado 28; it's kind of at this shopping center called Market 28. Weird, right?
Don't be fooled by this pink building full of jewelry shops; the real action is at Mercado 28. To find it, just keep strolling a few more blocks up the street until you hit this big archway-that's the legit entrance to Mercado 28.
Alternatively, you can grab a taxi. The following taxi apps work in Cancun: Uber, Didi.

I been to Mercado 28 in my last trip, I really liked it. People are nice and helpful. And pricing is better at 28 than 23, they got more to see!

I don't recommend mercado 28 people knows each other they are watching you all the time, they follow you trying to sell their product, the selling technique they use is annoying, pasele pasele, and blablabla they don't give you time to look and enjoy they are all over you all the time, I've been there two times n i wasn't there for no more then 20 minutes, they made me and my family feel uncomfortable. Mercado 23 and parque palapas are the best for shopping, better prices and poeple won't bother you.😂
