    Some of you astute viewers have pointed out that using an IR thermometer is not the best way to measure the internal temps of the steam tent. I humbly considered your critques and ran the test again. Here are the results: ruclips.net/user/shortstl6UJrZWsMY

    Laser thermometers only measure the surface temperature they are pointing at not the ambient temperatures. Only a standard thermometer can measure the interior temperature conditions.

    I've had my Sauna for four months. The first steamer's lid broke, so I waited three weeks to get a replacement from China. Last month, the steamer pod stopped producing steam, so I'm waiting three weeks to get a new one. I feel like the steam output is intermittent and not consistent. Thanks for the video; I definitely would pass on this purchase.

    Oddly enough, you are better off getting smaller one and buying a shower chair to make sure the elevation works in your favor.. You really need to be high up to feel the heat. It could be possible to get another 1500 watt steamer and put it through the other side. I can't see these larger ones getting very hot if its just one steamer. Also keep in mind there are seems on the bottom where moisture escapes. I would suggest putting a vapor barrier down. If you are using this I door. I purchased one on ebay for 138.00 and it works fine with the above mentioned suggestions. It also has steel rods albeit thin, they are better than plastic. My steamer comes with the same one shown in this video. I believe these all come from the same Chinese factories, they just change a few things out depending on the seller.

    My sauna broke down after only 10 uses (error code 1) I emailed them Arnel replied seemed freindly so I sent the short video they asked for but then ignored me for the past 3 days and i get the feeling they are trying to fob me off But I believe I'm still under warranty. I've had no solution and wasted about £500 also the instructions and machines materials are cheap and fragile from a Chinese warehouse. I feel gutted and will make sure the world knows what a bad outcome i had.

      I hear ya. Purchased the Tropic PRO to see if it's any better and 2 months later, I still don't have it. Again, VERY hard to recommend.

    So, mine came with a little reservoir for herbs. I'm not seeing any instruction on how to use it. Since it has a spot to put a hose, I am using the short hose to hook it to the inside of the tent and the longer hose to attach the unit to the outise of the tent. I'll update on how that works.

    The mat goes outside of it , for when you walk out.

    • @Recovatech
      @Recovatech  2 месяца назад

      Yes, I know. It’s a major miss not having a mat that goes inside and covers the floor like the SaunaBox. Without something there to collect the water and sweat, it just gets dirty and gross.

    Mine is in a garage and I live in Texas. I’ve only got up to about 110 after 30 mins.

      You're in Texas? Give it another 2 months and it will probably be 150 even without the steam, haha.

    Another great video! My only thought would be to use an ambient temp sensur fir test. Those handheld guys aren't that accurate, and it's also trying to measure the temp of whatever the laser is hitting, in this case, the cloth covering. You want the ambient temp, not the temperature of the cloth, correct?

    So you could keep it indoors in an enclosed area. Maybe that would help

      You are exactly right in the sense that ambient temperatures can affect how well it works overall. The Nurecover "works" and will make you sweat, but overall I found the quality of materials and the included accessories to be lacking. I compare it to the SaunaBox in another video and the difference between the two is quite obvious. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Is the TropicPro model as good as saunabox or better?

    • @Recovatech
      @Recovatech  2 месяца назад

      Stay tuned. I've got a Tropic Pro on the way because I'd like to know that too. Hopefully, I'll have a video out sometime this coming week. That said, SaunaBox actually improved their tent and added more insulation. They haven't marketed it, but the cover is significantly "heavier duty" and they made a couple of other tweaks. I just posted that video if you care to watch.
