This song makes me very emotional as it was my first Pokémon game, and it makes me look back to when I got it when i was 4/5. So much has changed since, we live in a completely different world than we did when Ruby and Sapphire released. I am no longer the innocent happy child I was when I heard this the first time
This old one makes me tear up more than the remake because it's more nostalgic my childhood 😭. Also goldenrod city 🏙️ theme from the original Pokemon gold is another theme that makes me tear up my childhood 😭
Don't want to get deep or anything but this music it brings me back but not just to Pokémon but to everything I've accomplished in my life. This music is kinda of a "congratulations you've lived and accomplished a lot" type of thing and when it turns off it's like I'm picking a game back up, I'm continuing my adventure.
I could die by having flaming shards of glass slowly piercing and burning me up from the inside of my body while listening to this, and I wouldn't even be the slightest bit mad.
@@CYNTH_14bro your vibe is slightly maculate. Simply avoid having flaming shards of glass slowly piercing and burning you up from the inside of your body and that should remove all of the maculateness.
It's been 20 years this month my dudes since Ruby/Sapphire came to the US. This and Rustboro City are the first songs I think about when reminiscing about Ruby/Sapphire. So nostalgic! I'll never forget when I got Ruby for my birthday and played it everyday. Time sure flies, and so many great memories...:')
Despite me playing Pokemon Silver first, Pokemon Ruby was the first Pokemon game I really got into with an old friend of mine. The secret bases, the battles and trades and our race to find a febass first... For many it's Pallet Town that started off their journey into the games but for me I think I can say this small town was my *True* starting point into the games. And for whatever reason I always wondered why May was in my house before realizing I got the two houses mixed up somehow. With over 500 + hours to boot. Good times, good times.
I was into the anime and cards and toys way before the games. Hoenn was my first games as well, even though I remember a time when there were only 151 mons! Idk why my parents never got the main series games til rse but I ain't even mad
Listening to this Song sitting in my card room admiring my pokemon collection, i ask myself, "where have all the years gone, will i survivey my next deployment, if i die should i play this at my funeral?" I guess it doesn't matter. Im just happy i made it this far. Bartender, another shot of nostalgia please
When you feel like you've accomplished everything you want even *just for the moment* , you should go home, relax, and listen to this music! "even just for the moment" coz after the elite 4, there are more adventure! You got this!
Every time i hear this song, it makes me cry so bad... it makes me go back into the "just be happy"... in what moment all turn so complicated?? If i would just take back that happiness just for 1 minute....
You know, I never played this game. In fact I never really wanted to, but this theme and this theme only evokes a feeling of nostalgia, from something I've never even played or had memories with! And it makes me think about all the other Pokémon... and frankly non-Pokémon games I've played. All the fictional characters and stories that define me. Mario and Cappy's final moon on Darker Side in Super Mario Odyssey, Sonic's tearjerker at the end of Sonic Frontiers, POKEMON QUEST! Pokémon Quest was the first game I ever had on my Nintendo Switch, and although small, blossomed into many, MANY other deeper games that I'm all thankful for. All those Pokémon waiting in there poke balls to be used in battle. Something about this song makes me feel like every one of those Pokémon I caught have a story, went though something to get to me, and I raised them. They feel alive. Like real pets that care, fighting my way though the League, together. With companionship. I hold Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Scarlet near and dear to my heart, As well and Let's Go Pikachu, being the first real Pokémon game I played. Scarlet was a emotional rollercoaster, not because it was amazing, but because it wasn't, the game was weird, but at the end I think about all the stuff that just happened, School, Friends, Titans, Gyms, DINOSAURS, DEAD PARENTS?!!? And most importantly, the Pokémon that I raised along to way. and while Ed Sheeran Plays In the background, I hear this song. For Pokémon Sword, I just spiral over Postwick and Hop and Scorbunny and Leon and Kubfu and Calyrex and Eternatus and Zacian, and Chairman Rose! Let's Go Pikachu just seems like the made a game with the feeling of this song. wrapped with hours of time with my brother trying to catch every Pokémon and Feeling so bad for that Cubone. Finally beating it and being so fascinated with the Mega Evolutions. I loved it. And I soaked in hours, weeks, at least two years into Pokémon Quest. Quietly, and alone I played with blocky little guys. Life can be a lot For someone like me, who is just about to be out of Middle School, moving on is hard. Finding the right people is hard. and I'm sure everything beyond High School will be hard. But no matter. Use this form of media as an escape. Grew up on this game. New versions kept coming out but I just kept replaying ruby & emerald for years. My sister hid her sapphire from me. Now, this is my son’s favorite song. Started playing it to him almost a year ago. He’s 20 months old now, and this song does it for him, whatever it is.

No other hometown theme in Pokemon quite captures the feeling of safety of being in your childhood home quite like Littleroot...
