I prefer to fade down after taking out my first guideline although the steps are the same 👍🏾

Question for Barber Style Directory : ( Fading My Own Hair ) I have been following your channel for a while... I appreciate you sharing your skills . Which clippers would you reccomend which have the Locking Lever for various settings? I have Wahls, but the lever moves once I begin fading my own hair etc...I'm using Andis Tliner, Wahl, Conair. I want to upgrade- low cost clippers/ quality also ... Thanks, Barry
Why the 0 guard instead of the 1 guard open when u setting that next guideline ? Is this also a different technique? I notice in other cuts you go with the 1 open and then closed and then the 0 guard. Care to break that down?
For me I get nerves when I go to high
I don’t have a #0 guard with my Babyliss set. Is there something else I can do to mimic the #0 guard?

Where do you get that #0 magnetic guard ? , my double magnetics came with #0 guard closer to a wahl .5 guard with the small teeth ?

Bro you said it's a #0 guard open, and then closed clippers to go half way and open the clippers half way to go in between the lines that you created with #0 guard not #1 guard if that makes sense?
Skhumbah Fayah yes, I started with the 0 open, then closed, then half way. I’ll try to do a better job explaining next video
