Yes you can get the Lightning to HDMI adapter from Amazon just make sure you are getting the Actual Apple brand. I am pretty sure I got the HDMI cable from Amazon as well. I think it is the Amazon Basic brand of HDMI cable.
Right next to the HDMI input on this adapter is an input for a lightning charging cord you can plug in to charge the device at the same time you are using the adapter. Thanks for watching!
On certain streaming apps you can download TV shows or movies for offline viewing and I have tested and confirmed you can put your phone in airplane mode with no wifi or cellular data and still play back the downloaded content offline through this adapter. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Francisco Morales It doesn’t matter where you are. The adapter will work with whatever it works with. Some apps/videos may not be available in Mexico, but you can always use VPN to work around that, and that has nothing to do with the adapter.
doxa l live in Chicago but l travel to Mx every winter stay there for 4 months l notice that l play amazon whit a WiFi the app doesn’t play the movies for regional restrictions but if l switch to phone data it works (my Amazon account from USA) because amazon prime Mx sucks
Francisco Morales That’s interesting. So by using AT&T from Mexico, Amazon must think that you’re accessing them from the US. In any case, the HDMI adapter should work in Mexico. Just make sure to get genuine Apple adapter, because it’s the only one that will properly work with copyrighted content, as far as I know.
I have a plan from att that’s call North America plan Canada USA and Mexico and have unlimited data text and calls and l confirmed all ready because when l got here in January l was scare to turn on the roaming data switch but after 5 months no problem whit my monthly bill

This adapter does have a lighting cable input next to the HDMI input that you can plug a lightning cable into it to charge your iPhone or iPad while you are using the adapter.
I want to buy this but I have a Nintendo switch cable HDMI would it work with this adapter and then connected to my iPhone 11 says I don’t have Internet at home but I have a Samsung smart TV and I would like to watch Disney+ and Hulu

I know some of the non apple HDMI to lightning adapters do not always work but I am using the official Apple adapter and have not run into any issues with these apps. I would try a different HDMI cable or different HDMI input on your TV and see if that works.
Ive heard a lot of contridictory shit about these dongles. My questions are, is it just the bootlegged dongles that dont work? And is youre only working because its on a "beta" setup? Ive heard even the oem apple ones do the general freezing/not allowing shit. I just want to watch Hulu with my phone as my internet is such garbage it doesnt even connect to my ps4 with a Lan connection.. its so lame but its even more lame go see that the apps wont replicate the actual phone screen when normal social media apps will. tia

@@midwestdad133 I will try that thanks
How do you get subtitles?
What about the downloaded content on netflix? Will it show?
Yes I just downloaded a couple of shows and put my phone in airplane mode, turned off the wifi and confirmed that downloaded Netflix content without an internet connection will work with this adapter. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@midwestdad133 try to do the same with the internet on
It will work when the internet is on. I’ve just put out an updated video I did last weekend where I tested the adapter on wifi on the same iPad with 11 streaming apps including HBO Max, Apple TV+ and Disney+ here is the link ruclips.net/video/oyG9CRNj5eM/видео.html
Does anyone know if I can connect this to a mini projector?
Just made the same question lol! Hopefully I can get an answer!
I have a mini projector and want to use the HDMI adapter por iPhone 12 Pro Max and stream offline Netflix content
How about DisneyPlus?
Yes it works with Disney+ Thank you for watching and commenting.
Can I buy this on Amazon?? and where did you get your HDMI cable???
Yes you can get the Lightning to HDMI adapter from Amazon just make sure you are getting the Actual Apple brand. I am pretty sure I got the HDMI cable from Amazon as well. I think it is the Amazon Basic brand of HDMI cable.
Hii does it work with ios 13? Thanks
what about apple tv + can we play that app on tv ??
Does it charge while it’s playing
Right next to the HDMI input on this adapter is an input for a lightning charging cord you can plug in to charge the device at the same time you are using the adapter. Thanks for watching!
Hi will it work with IOS 13.3 .1 with apps that use HDCP ? Regards steve
Yes. I'm on iOS 13.5, and I can confirm that Disney+, Netflix, and Vudu are working. I have some others but I haven'ted tested them on iOS 13.5 yet.
doxa will it do it thru a projector?
so it only works with apple adapter or apple, oem cable, LOL for that price ill get roku
nycbklynrmp does oem works with Netflix?
Will this adapter work with SlingPlayer app? I have a slingbox at home
You don’t need wifi?
On certain streaming apps you can download TV shows or movies for offline viewing and I have tested and confirmed you can put your phone in airplane mode with no wifi or cellular data and still play back the downloaded content offline through this adapter. Thanks for watching and commenting.
It will work in Mexico ?l have unlimited data from att.
Francisco Morales Nice 👍
Does Philo TV App work on it?
don’t work anymore for payed streaming services.
does this still work with netflix ? how about pureflix anyone know ?
I just hooked up my iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 14.2 today to the lightning to HDMI adapter and Netflix, Amazon Prime, tubi, Pluto TV, Hulu, Disney+ and HBO Max all worked but the newest ESPN app still does not work.
Is it full screen 16:9 when playing youtube videos with the adapter?
disney plus doesn’t work with my adapter.
It seems a bit laggy at moments on my 75 inch Samsung
I just wanted to know if I can play Fortnite from my phone to tv
Tre Benjamin yes u can
Christopher Donjuan is it still 60fps then?
Luca it’s still 60fps but you have to adjust your tv picture settings in order to decrease the input delay
Will this work on iPhone 7+
Mine Netflix working but amazon prime not
Will it charge the phone also ?
This adapter does have a lighting cable input next to the HDMI input that you can plug a lightning cable into it to charge your iPhone or iPad while you are using the adapter.
How about HBO MAX?
Yes it does work with HBO Max. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@midwestdad133 thank you for replying
I want to buy this but I have a Nintendo switch cable HDMI would it work with this adapter and then connected to my iPhone 11 says I don’t have Internet at home but I have a Samsung smart TV and I would like to watch Disney+ and Hulu
Does this works with VLC?
why does it not show any video for me?
The prime video doesn’t work. I rebooted my phone Hulu gives a error message
Thank you for watching I just re-tested Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu on the same iPad now that it is running iPad OS 13.2 and all 3 are working. I know some of the non apple HDMI to lightning adapters do not always work but I am using the official Apple adapter and have not run into any issues with these apps. I would try a different HDMI cable or different HDMI input on your TV and see if that works.
I have the apple cable but when I put the video on the iphone it dosnt show on tv
it does not work with netflix downloads offline!
HULU DOES NOT WORK,,,i just tried it
ESPN+ is still not working
Ive heard a lot of contridictory shit about these dongles. My questions are, is it just the bootlegged dongles that dont work? And is youre only working because its on a "beta" setup? Ive heard even the oem apple ones do the general freezing/not allowing shit. I just want to watch Hulu with my phone as my internet is such garbage it doesnt even connect to my ps4 with a Lan connection.. its so lame but its even more lame go see that the apps wont replicate the actual phone screen when normal social media apps will. tia
TJ Miller?
Hulu not working for me
its almost useless now except for netflix and hbo max. Amazon prime video and directv stream stopped working. This is a shame and the only reason I went to apple phone. Guess its the new s23ultra soon I hope.
Does it plays still on Netflix? I have seen some other people complaining! Maybe Netflix release a fix and shut this off?
Norman Bataille ive been looking to get one but as I shop on amazon for one, most say not compatible w Netflix amazon prime Hulu etc... I think they are blocking these from working through this adapter? I don’t know? If you have any info please let me know?
I just hooked up my iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 14.2 today to the lightning to HDMI adapter and Netflix, Amazon Prime, tubi, Pluto TV, Hulu, Disney+ and HBO Max all worked but the newest ESPN app still does not work.
Does it work with iOS 13?
Yes. I'm on iOS 13.5, and it works great.
doxa can you confirm it works with Netflix as well?
@@ArcVega Yes. I haven't done extensive testing, but I was able to play some previously downloaded episodes of Witcher through the adapter.
doxa are u using an iphone or an ipad?coz mine doesn’t work with netflix and i’m using an iphone 7+
Efie Milanes I use iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2, both on iOS 13.5. Netflix works on both with the adapter. What happens when you use the adapter and start playing on Netflix? When you plug in the adapter, do you see an adapter-shaped icon at the top of the screen?
