One thought I had was if there would be value in adding another tool path for the flat portion of the relief? If you added a vector around the relief with a small offset of about 1/8 inch then you could use a large, square end mill to create the flat area quickly before you did the first ball end rough cut. Just a thought. Thanks for the video.
