You are correct about Studio One. Switching to Studio One is explosive. I have several DAWs, and I keep going back to Studio One, where I produced six CDs.

Very helpful, I have an issue, I got a new USB Studio microphone and experiencing a weired situation, I can record great audio outside of Studio one with audacity, but inside my DAW I am getting a bussing sound, do you have any idea how to solve this one?

I have absolutely zero experience with recording myself and This is the exact tutorial I needed for studio one. I’m experiencing mega issues with recording my drums. Often, only my overhead will record the session. My interface will register the bass drum mic and snare mics, I’ll arm the track and as soon as I press record. BOOM. Only the overhead captures everything 😢 thank you for the help!!!

I have a new sm7b mic it sounds great but I’m still hearing a humm. I’m using studio one as you’ve suggested. I have the usb audio box and a cloudlifter. What am I’m need to remove the humming sound. Thanks man, great stuff. Do I need to add an amp to the track when I'm recording voice? Like, when I record guitar, I add Ampire to actually amplify the line sound. How do I do the same with voice recording?
I have the presonus 1818v which is why I use studio one. I started recording drums and the playback worked initially for all mics. Now I can only use two inputs. Is the free version limited to two channels? I haven't found anything concrete online and I'm unsure if I have to purchase or upgrade in order to use the other 6 mic inputs. Thanks for your help

I have a sound card m-audio 24-96 internal
I have a 68c but when I go to audio in/out there are only 2 inputs available instead of 4. It would be great if you could explain how to fix this. Thanks

Hi! How are you? I have been trying to use my audiobox with my microphone but Studio one doesn't detect it, the green bar that moves when you click the speaker icon doesn't appear even if I follow all the steps you said. Maybe it's because I don't have headphones. I would like to know if I must have headphones in order to make it work. Please help :(
Headphones are needed. But I also had an issue today setting mine up where I had to go into my privacy settings and allow studio one to access my mic

If i use asio4all it will use my laptop's speaker not my headphones
This works perfectly. Does anyone know why the earphones only play on the side the mic is connected to? How do I configure the earphones to play on the left and right side?
thats because you have mono on next to ur vocals there should be a dot, click it and it will work
