They don't have that here in Canada - not anymore at least. I used to love the fregrancd too. Those little ballet shoes are so cute. And I agree they are great for travelling. I too hate to walk on hotel floors bare foot. So I do understand what you mean. . I get the " heeby genies"!! Haha

It is the top of the lilac season here in Montana. I planted two zone four rose bushes and will put out my garden starts tomorrow. I am fortunate that I am not in the flooded areas.

I paused the video to focus on the leftover books, where one called Contented Dementia had caught my attention. I looked it up on Amazon.com and learned enough to request it from the public library here near New Orleans. Fortunately there’s no one with dementia in our family; we are the older generation and so far we are all right. I just found this book’s suggestions for helping someone’s mental condition interesting and will read the book and maybe put it to use if relevant in the future.

On the lovely flowy grey dress -- I hear you on the "strong enough" color concern. I am pale and dark blonde, and everyone thinks I should be in soft colors and pastels, but they just wash me out. I need brighter, clear hues to not look pasty. I wonder if a very lightweight scarf -- maybe a graphic or floral? -- with some pops of red in it would be a nice pairing?

No, you don't take them home - the idea is to get rid of the clutter. We keep most of the good clothes for the next swap (there were a lot of friends who couldn't make this party) and after two or three parties we take the whole lot to the charity shop and start afresh. So everything is recycled, or handed on - nothing goes to waste! 😍
I wished I could have a clothes swap party with my frieds. But we have all totally different sizes and taste - and until now I'm the only one, who declutters constantly 😂. The other ones are hoarders 😉 and can not unterstand that less can be more sometimes...
Don't worry at all about making long videos! I love to see all your new treasures! I'm losing a lot of weight right now in my life and I have NO IDEA how to dress a smaller body. So, getting to see anything that has to do with your wardrobe gives me great ideas for myself! A clothes swap party sounds like such fun!
I remember 4711. My granny used it and when I smell it sthese days - it alweays reminds me of granny and how much fun my brother and me had with her when we were little children. Ivonne Ortega its cherry blossom. Its a light scent that's not overpowering or too sweet. Its kind of expensive. I also like cherry blossom from bath and body works ( not Japanese cherry blossom) but the old cherry blossom. You have to order on line because they discontinued at the store.
My goodness Vevica’s House is beautiful! Maybe she will let you do a tour of her house. When you showed her floors they were the prettiest I have ever seen. Her taste is impeccable.
