  • The 155mm M1 gun, nicknamed the "Long Tom" saw extensive action in WWII. It was developed by the United States Military to be deployed as a heavy field gun. During WWII, it was used in the Pacific and North African Theaters.
    The M2 Variant of this gun was mounted on the M40 Gun Motor Carriage.
