My favorite word is "gezelligheid" its a dutch word with no real translation in any other language, it is a word to describe that feeling of happiness/coziness you get when you're with other people
+Chantal Schrader oops you're right! Forgot about German for a minute haha ,so almost no other language (now I'm curious if there are more translations, since I've always been taught there aren't)
carrie, I saw you on the 10th may. words can not describe how good it was being that I'm also a huge fan of chitty. In fact all the songs you did were amazing but of course my heart was waiting for lovely lonely man. I wonder where you would sing it and it was just in the right place. how they did the back scenery is very clever and I can tell that Andy Hockley and Scott paige are as fun off stage as they are on. To being a fan of yours on RUclips to watching you on stage I'm even more in ore of you. thank you for being an amazing person and a fantastic truly scrumptious
My favourite word is Schnuballybub (it was a made up word from a show I used to watch) it means the lovely and bubbly feeling you get in your stomach when you see the person you love/fancy
My favorite word is FLOCCINAUCINIHILIPILIFICATION, it has 29 letters, is pronounced FLOCK-SIN-AW-CINI-HILI-PILIFICATION and means The habit of estimating something as worthless!! I just love it Xx
I wish I could come see the show. It's an American(with no money)Problem.lol. I've been collected my VHS collection back up and saw a copy of Chitty where I work and thought SURE! I've never seen it until this morning. It was quite enjoyable. I wish I could see you in it. I'd love to see how it is made on stage with all the dogs and the water and flying and floating car! haha. Oh well. I wish shows would record it the last show and sell them or something.
Love your comment re Chitty vs. Les Mis. Chitty was the first show I ever saw on the West End, when I was 8, and everyone came out of the theatre singing and laughing. It was not the same situation when we saw Les Mis the next night... Also, my favourite word is the Spanish for "independently", which is "independientemente". It's pronounced exactly as it's written, and is just so satisfyingly bouncy to say. X
You will love Newcastle then! we have a four storey waterstones sandwiched between two Prets with about a two minute walking distance from the Theatre Royal!! xx Cannot wait to see you play Truly!
Came to see Chitty at MK Theatre the other week! Was so, so amazing! I grew up with this film and like you hold it very closely to my heart, and I was blown away by how incredible the stage production was. Such creative and innovative set, and the costumes so detailed and beautiful! Carrie you were incredible (as you were when I saw Les Mis) and the most perfect fantasmagoric Truly, always so amazed by your singing and acting, 'truly' amazing at what you do. - xx
My favourite of Truly's outfits is definitely the Toot Sweets one the hat is a dream! Also I love every time Scott Paige pops up pulling a face - I only found out about him through watching Chitty but Goran and Boris are my absolute favourite characters (sorry Truly! Comedy is the way to my heart, even if I couldn't make out every joke from the sound being too loud ;) )
My favourite word in the English language is probably "matinee" (even though it comes from Français). It just reminds me of a great day at the theatre and it sounds absolutely beautiful.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is the first musical I can remember seeing live onstage. I saw a youth theatre company’s performance of it and it started my obsession with musical theatre. I’ve recently gotten involve with that same youth theatre company and they are doing Chitty this spring. I think it would be a fitting end to my high school theatre experience (I’m a senior) although none of the female roles are altos. This is the time I wish I was a mezzo or a soprano so I could actually sing Doll On a Music Box.
Carrie Fletcher. Wow. I watched you in a Plymouth show a few weeks back, you were fabulously fantastic, indescribable, I can't put it into words! You made me laugh, and cry! And I have never felt so connected to a character, you helped make that little family feel so 'truly' (see what i did there? 😏😏) real! And I want to thank you for that! So fabulous! Xxx
The surprise star of this video is your pal with curly hair who cheekily blows a kiss during warm-up followed by casually video-bombing (is that a thing?) later on. Fantastic. Loved seeing your costumes too! You look lovely as Truly.
Carrie, I love your theatre-based vlogs and videos. I'm an aspiring actress myself and I love seeing the realities of theatreland! Eponine is my dream role so I adored the ins and outs of your time playing her and now it's exciting watching your new adventure unfold. Hopefully will be seeing you at the Sheffield Lyceum in a few weeks! Lots of love xxxx
I watched Chitty in Leeds on the 3rd of December (when someone else was playing Truly), and I really enjoyed it! Its nice to see all of the costumes again and to hear the songs :) xx
Carrie I saw you in Chitty at Nottingham tonight and you were so incredible! Just wanted you to know how happy I am to have seen you perform - keep doing what you're doing because you are truly fabulous :)
Hi Carrie. Here's my favorite Tagalog (Filipino) word right now: Padayon. It means to carry on, to move forward. I'm a graduating student and I take this word by heart everyday. Padayon, Carrie! Onward and upward!
I grew up in the Netherlands but my English mummy showed me CCBB when I was a little girl. I fell in love with the film and don't understand why it never made it to Dutch cinemas. Everyone knows Mary Poppins and Sound of Music, what happened?! Seeing the show, with my mum, is going on my bucket list right now. (just found out the tour's in Scotland when I go to Norfolk next month. devastating. ;) )
Dan and Phil sent me! I just binge watched your videos, love them, especially the Letters to Autumn, just beautiful. I'm enjoying following your exciting career! Thanks for sharing.
I went to see chitty on friday the 13th, you, lee and everyone else was absolutely amazing! Wish I could see all of you in it all over again! It was brilliantly done and so fab!
i saw chitty in milton keynes on the second night and it was absolutely incredible, you were wonderful, as was lee mead and the children who played the potts kids, im so glad i got to see you in it as truly
Just so you know when you come to Nottingham, Waterstones and Pret are really close so if you can find one you'll be able to find the other. Also the shopping centre nearest to the theatre has a Disney store and an Urban Outfitters that sells jolly ranchers. Xxx
Saw the second night at Wimbledon and I honestly loved Lovely Lonely man, theres always been a special place in my heart for that song but the new arrangement was gorgeous! Love the reimagining of the song and you sing it so beautifully!
Carrie, we came to see the show on Thursday and you were absolutely awesome!! You just light up the stage!! Your voice is amazing too! Love and hugs Sandie xx
I was reading a book, "Between Shades of Gray" by Ruta Sepetys, and a word that kept showing up was "Krasivaya." It was defined by a character named Nikolai Kretzsky. This word means "beautiful, but with strength; Unique." Ever since I read that book the word has just been stuck in my head. It had so much meaning to the book. And, to be honest, it's the perfect word to describe you xD I really recommend that book, by the way, as well as her other books. I love you, Carrie. You are Krasivaya.
i have two favourite words at the moment actually: *festooned* which kind of means intensely decorated... and also *befuddled* which means completely confused
I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now and you continue to inspire me so much! As a fellow writer and actress I love watching your videos. Its so exciting to watch your experience from moving from Le Mis to Chitty. I look forward to your next video!
I really loved this video so much! I also loved it when the gentleman took your camera out of the sweet tin and went "thanks very much" bless his heart :')

I am really longing to come see the show, but as I live in the part of Norway that is the farthest away from the U.K. it gets slightly tricky. But hopefully I'll be able to come this summer when you're performing in London! xx
Ridiculously pleased for you, Carrie! Your short hair looks truly marvellous in corkscrew curls. (Haha... Truly...) Hopefully I'll see the show in London! You constantly inspire me as a performer. Keep shining :)
Carrie, I'm so excited, I'm auditioning for this role in a community theater production of chitty! I'm so thrilled at the prospect of playing the same role as you halfway around the world (I'm from America). Wish me luck! xxx
Your vlogs always brighten up my day immensely. I aspire to be as fantastic as you someday, thank you for all your cheery words and laughter and sweets. You "Truly" are fantastic

I was at MK Theatre on Friday for an interview and walked past your dressing room. I was so tempted to knock and say hi but was faaaarrrr to embarrassed as I'd have probably cried or something! I can't wait to see you in Newcastle!

+The Belle Vie Project Yes!! :)
I have finally found some other Two Pints watchers
That pink outfit is wonderfully ridiculous I love it
+M~mai I absolutely adore her blue Toute de Sweets-dress!
The lovely reversal of offering sweets _to_ the child catcher.
It always feels so strange to see people that i feel i know but actually don't so close to where i am and where i grew up its just so surreal
My favorite word is FLOCCINAUCINIHILIPILIFICATION, it has 29 letters, is pronounced FLOCK-SIN-AW-CINI-HILI-PILIFICATION and means The habit of estimating something as worthless!! I just love it Xx

+ItsWayPastMyBedTime you're welcome
Danny Buttfield hello fellow notts dweller 😂
Seeing how much you smile during the hair-rolling part of this video really shows off how beautiful a person you are. Never stop smiling.
+TheMusicalDoe Excellent observation well articulated :)

Watched this over the weekend in Sheffield. Carrie was by far my favourite. What a voice! I love 'Turning around on a music box' - Goose bump moment..
when you take the sweet tin round you should go 'children, come and get your lollipops! all free today!'
It's great to see your home city in a video. Got to love the city (centre MK) xx
Yesssss so true
Why is it that all your vlogs put me in a good mood instantly? :)

Soliloquy . I love words and this is my favourite one to say. It is when a character speaks to oneself in a novel, film or theatre performance
