carrie, I saw you on the 10th may. words can not describe how good it was being that I'm also a huge fan of chitty. In fact all the songs you did were amazing but of course my heart was waiting for lovely lonely man. I wonder where you would sing it and it was just in the right place. how they did the back scenery is very clever and I can tell that Andy Hockley and Scott paige are as fun off stage as they are on.

I wish I could come see the show. It's an American(with no money)Problem.lol. I've been collected my VHS collection back up and saw a copy of Chitty where I work and thought SURE! I've never seen it until this morning. It was quite enjoyable. I wish I could see you in it. I'd love to see how it is made on stage with all the dogs and the water and flying and floating car! haha. Oh well. I wish shows would record it the last show and sell them or something.

Love your comment re Chitty vs. Les Mis. Chitty was the first show I ever saw on the West End, when I was 8, and everyone came out of the theatre singing and laughing. It was not the same situation when we saw Les Mis the next night...
Also, my favourite word is the Spanish for "independently", which is "independientemente". It's pronounced exactly as it's written, and is just so satisfyingly bouncy to say. X

I was reading a book, "Between Shades of Gray" by Ruta Sepetys, and a word that kept showing up was "Krasivaya." It was defined by a character named Nikolai Kretzsky. This word means "beautiful, but with strength; Unique." Ever since I read that book the word has just been stuck in my head. It had so much meaning to the book. And, to be honest, it's the perfect word to describe you xD
I really recommend that book, by the way, as well as her other books.
I love you, Carrie. You are Krasivaya.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is the first musical I can remember seeing live onstage. I saw a youth theatre company’s performance of it and it started my obsession with musical theatre. I’ve recently gotten involve with that same youth theatre company and they are doing Chitty this spring. I think it would be a fitting end to my high school theatre experience (I’m a senior) although none of the female roles are altos. This is the time I wish I was a mezzo or a soprano so I could actually sing Doll On a Music Box.

this is completely unwarranted advice so I am really sorry if it is also unwanted, but in regards to biting your nails, (as someone who has finally stopped after 7 years) stopping one finger at a time can be really helpful, as it weans you off of the habbit slowly, and its also immense fun to watch each nail at different stages of growth (and super encouraging)
again, sorry to bring up something not even vaguely mentioned in the video, please ignore it if its unwanted

    *****
Regarding the word, "xotzaxolotl" I'm guessing it's some version of axolotl, pronounced like ax-o-lot-al, which is an Aztec word that is still used for a particular type of "walking fish" or salamander that is endangered, possibly extinct in the wild in Mexico.
These are really cool animals. This particular salamander can regenerate more body parts than just a leg or a tail which made the Aztecs associate it with the god Xolotl. Xolotl was among other things, the Aztec God of death.
So I suppose the "walking fish of death" thing is appropriate. But, I've never seen the spelling used here or heard of the Mesoamerican language or dialect referred to.

Right now I'm actually rocking a favourite phrase which we should totally adopt into the English colloquial lexicon but it wouldn't be as cool... Suare cu dinti, which means 'Sun with teeth' and is used to describe one of those absolutely beautifully clear, sunny winter days when it's absolutely bitter outside. There should be a little 'thingy' under the t in dinti, it shows up if you translate sun with teeth in google translate, English to Romanian. I'm obsessed with this phrase in winter especially!

+ItsWayPastMyBedtime The last word you mentioned is an axolotl! :) It's a small lizard which is basically a tadpole version of a salamander lizard. They live in water and are super cute - I have two pet ones called speckles and peaches! They are native to a specific lake in Mexico and actually endangered sadly due to use of them as medicine :( They are incredible creatures who are able to regrow now only limbs, but also internal organs! :)

I have to admit that my favorite word is dirigible, it's a type of aircraft, but it's such a fun word to say, so that's why I love it! Xxx

I really want to go watch the show not only because you're in it but because it's also been a massive childhood film I've grew up with!

My favourite word is Coquelicot, and it's just the French word for poppy :) I absolutely love the way it's said, it's lyrical and beautiful and reminds me of something like mornings in springtime.

Just so you know when you come to Nottingham, Waterstones and Pret are really close so if you can find one you'll be able to find the other.
Also the shopping centre nearest to the theatre has a Disney store and an Urban Outfitters that sells jolly ranchers. Xxx
