I've never in my related to anything more than this video. Similar story. Battled with severe depression, got a little dangerous some night. Finally step foot in a gym, haven't missed a day yet. That was about 4 months ago. Im a completely different person. I have a confidence I've never experienced. Enough to where others are taking notice, not of my size, but my attitude, my demeanor. I like myself again. Life has its light again. I'm not where I want to be, but ateast being on the way. Best feeling in the world.

I was once obese... only around 14 years old... I wasn't depressed or anything however I hated the fact that girls were not interested. I one day decided to try dieting to lose weight and throughout the months I was gradually losing it.... Then I became obsessed with losing weight and trying to get as thing as possible... I was eating under 1000 calories a day and got down to 100lbs... I was skin and bone... I had no confidence.. I was so depressed... I lost all of my friends as I was never leaving my house.... All of the weight I lost was over the summer period after finishing my exams... I had got down to 7 stone in one summer...... When I came to collect my results, one of my teachers said "did you're parents starve you over the summer". I will never forget this and this is when something clicked in my brain..... I started going to the gym... my eating got better and better... my calories were increasing every week.... It got to a point when I was eating over 4000 calories everyday... I had built size and I thought I was pretty big and guess what? Girls gave me so much attention... I made loads of friends as I wasn't scared of leaving the house or hiding away when I was at college..... I started going out to party's with friends... I'm now 18 years old.. hitting the fullbody workouts hard 3x per week and I've now been with a girl for almost 2 years and have a lot of friends.... Life is so much better now than it was years ago,.... I honestly thank the gym and fitness lifestyle for that!

***** I did .. I lost a bit of weight during my final year but when I left school I starved myself (btw it wasn't just over the summer as we finished early on study leave) yeah I went from obese to anorexic in that time due to the extreme low amount of caloires.... shoot me an email and I can show you pictures if you really want

TripFlip Noo actually ... I tracked my macros every single day to the exact eating over 4000 calories.... You can get an extremely skinny kid who maintains his weight on 4000 calories a day and a huge muscly guy who maintains on 2500 calories... it all depends on metabolism.

Been watching you for a few years now, my dad passed away from cancer when I was 15. I was going through severe depression because I was there in his last days of life. Traumatized me, but when I watched your videos it changed my life and it changed me. I kind of went my own path after that, I grew a lot. But I began to fall off again, I would smoke all the time trying to forget the pain. And I knew it wasn't right, but for a few years I just went with it. I'm almost 20 now, and I can say that you saved my life again. Ya know the pain never really goes away but watching you again and connecting our stories it gives me the confidence and strength for a second wind in my life. And I want to thank you, you're really a second father figure to me. And I just wanted you to know that you're changing lives. And that's something I want to do with my life. Big Brandon Carter, thank you.

This SHIT is so true. I can remember when I was overweight and I'm not just talking about how I looked I'm talking about how I carried myself as well. My attitude sucked. I was lazy, depressed, sad and not well. But the day I started working out, eating right, reading and basically improving myself. My attitude changed I knew that all things were possible when I put my mind to it and fucking got shit done. I hope this video help people realize that once you overcome yourself everything else can be overcome as well. Good video !

This is so true. I started about 3 months ago going all in for it at the gym 6-7days a week to get consistency, changed my diet eating alot more food. Before being a classic shy computernerd being skinny 60kg 182cm now 71kg more ripped than before and it made a huge difference in my head. I dont feel depressed anymore, i feel alot more confident, my motivation for training grows for every single day, girls starts hitting on me and commenting. I Hated training for 3 months ago, now i get abstinent, after a day off. The only negative side is that I cannot fit my jeans anymore :S.

For you it was fitness that built that integrity, discipline and character. For me it was basketball. Finding a craft to dedicate every day to from a young age is so so so beneficial to growth. I attribute basketball into making me into who I am today and laying the foundation to be able relentlessly attack life and my current goals I have. Find your craft, even if you won't do it forever, and go balls to the wall all in. It'll teach you invaluable lessons.

I'm trying to quit cigarettes. I have been smoking for like 4 years. I was smoking 2 packages daily. I reduced it to 1 package since the last 4 days. I am going to quit smoking on 15 may, and it started to make me afraid. I wast just passing by and saw your video. I'm not talking about fitness here i know, but the thing you said about "You need to be able to change yourself in order to change something else you want, change people around you, change your own life.", made me sure that i'm going to quit on may 15. I will comment on here again at may 15th, and i wont be smoking anymore. After that i'll start working on my grades. And after that i think about being a youtuber, but im not sure actually. Maybe i will start Working out too. Subscribed already.

Hey man I want more videos like this I used to listen to this shit on repeat when I was on probation for 6 felonies and a misdemeanor, and I was working two jobs almost 90 hours a week because they put me on the hardest, most expensive probation program they had and I had to get out of that hole. It was fucking painful, I had to push myself every minute pure hell. I’m glad I did it though because 2-3 years later I’m here flipping houses in Tampa now, started out in Daytona which was a rough market and then came up when I flipped this lake house for a 50k profit which was also pure hell but I made it into one of the most profitable real estate markets in Florida and I’m super grateful for videos like this that allowed me to push on and work my ass off. I’ll be making content soon too, I want to help other people, I’m finally getting to that point where I’m impressing people by what I’ve accomplished and I’m not fucking slowing down I’m learning more every day and it’s hard work but I’ve got to get the shit done. I’m making no less than 120k this year, that’s 10k a month that’s nothing anybody can do this shit you speak the truth Brandon and I’m making gains too. Like ct fletcher said fuck excuses

somewhere in less than a hundred feet away from this vid, there is someone, likely on drugs or mentally ill, who is doing the same thing for 22 hours. the difference? Mr Brandon has something worthy to say, which is why we're listening to him instead of the 22 hour person.

Man this is one of the best videos you have ever done! Thank you! You hit the nail on its head. This is the number one reason why I train - the transformation of character and the belief I can go and achieve whatever I set out to do!

It's funny how things work sometimes... This was the exact video I needed to watch at this precise moment and I just happened to find it by accident. It really cleared my mind and showed me my solution for my own true problem. Big thanks to you Brandon / 20 year old from Sweden

You know what thank you for this video man, for as long as I can remember all I've done is suffered from deppression and loneliness and the lack of confidence in myself and everything. And I made up my mind to just cut off some distractions in my life like unnecessary social media's that would keep me in the same hole I was in, hell even told myself that now is the time get in shape the way I've been talking about for years. And I have deppression badly, I'd look for motivation, never bite my tongue to ask for advice but this kinda breaks things down into a simple way that really helps and hits home. Maybe and hopefully sooner or later I'll be able to come back and tell how my life has been changed. But for the moment all I can do is in vision and see myself more differently, more fit hell tbh even more confident and different then the old shell I am today. But thanks man for this video, I plan to at least watch this video ever one or 2 says to kinda remind me on why I'm doing and starting what I'm doing
