Nice videos! Can't wait to get sawing with my 8-30. Do you saw true dimensions (2"x6") or nominal (1.5"x5.5")? I'll be sawing lumber for a house build.

Normally I saw everything true the exception is if a client asks for specific dimension or if I'm going to be building and using my nail gun I Mill it at an inch and a half and then usually the width I'll just keep full dimension. If I'm building with the full dimension I have to jump up to hand nailing twenty Penny's . I have had one specific case where a client was adding green rough song to kiln dried lumber in his build and he wanted it milled to a specific dimension so that when it dried it would match the rest but when you do that you're just sort of guessing that it's going to shrink to give an amount.

Great video you have that down pretty good! How do you like the mill? I just ordered a 6-18 to go along side my bandmill and cant wait to try it out.

Thank you. I love the mill. Its super portable and can handle the logs no one wants to or can deal with.
