Anne really did change. In Season 1, Anne was wearing one shoe, but now in Season 3 she is wearing TWO SHOES!!!!
That doesn't even last long, which sucks but I guess they just HAD to reuse Anne's season 2 design so whatever

At first Sprig and the frog feels like a heartwarming little scene, but he seriously just stole a child's pet and released it in the middle of Los Angeles.
I don't know why, but my favorite scene in this entire series is when Hopidiah is freaking out, a passerby looks by with mild concern, only for Anne to explain it as "Durian first timer" and the passerby is just like "Ah, that makes sense" and laughs about it.
I love Anne's mom VA so much, she does such a great job

I’m getting Digimon vibes with the return of Anne in the human realm again. While she brought along her frog family to her home and introducing them to her parents, the dangers back in Amphibia where her human friends are still trapped also followed her in the process.

Watch infinity train, great sci-fi mystery, sadly somewhat unfinished, but still one of the best cartoons of the last decade for me, along with adventure time.
Anne's reunion with her parents is one of the most heartwarming scenes in the whole show - no questions, no yelling, just hugs. The girl's parents are amazing people and loves their daughter a lot and that's probably why Anne is the less troubled one from the Trio. And while it's a little strange to see another lighthearted adventures of Anne and the Plantars after the season 2 finale (which was delightfully dramatic😲) the stories how Anne repays the frog family for their kindness and helps them to adapt in the new world are very sweet. My personal favorite is "Adventures in Catsitting" - it's hard to outshine a cat doing its cat stuff onscreen!
As for the theory that Marcy will be cloned by Andrias - believe or not but the fandom really invent and gave Marcy a clone! Her name was Marky and she looks like she is constantly stoned...
Yall are gonna LOVE this season.

21:18 i just want clarify sasha is not the cause of what andrius was going to do anyway. Her jerk actions only delayed what was going to happen.
Turning Point really was a great evolution for Sasha’s character. What’s more impressive is that her qualities were pretty much always there, she’s always cared deeply for Anne and Marcy, but just never listened to their opinions on things. In Season 2 she started to have her worldview questioned after her lost at Toad Tower and how it started biting her in the ass and challenge the message of change from a meta perspective. Then after the events of True Colors and Season 2, culminated in her Evolution in Turning Point.
The cat becomes the most important character in season 3! She is the Alpha and Omega!
The character development in this show is on another level. It is some of the finest I've ever seen in any piece of fiction.
If you want another fun 3 season Disney show with a cool story I actually recommend Tangled the Series. It slaps I swear
I have not watched the Tangled TV series I heard it's good. Plus Tangled is great film too.

I really love the exploration of the theme of responsibility in s3. In s1-2 Anne had to learn to be responsible, so 1 could assume her journey would end there. But now she's learning to both be responsible for other people and not to be irresponsibly responsible. In other words, she learns to find balance between responsibilities and self-care. And abt Sasha, all those feelings we saw in s3ep2b were present in her pretty much always. She always cared for Anne and Marcy, but she never cared for their opinions. In s2 it started to bite her in the ass, but she chose to ignore it, so it's so sweet that she is finally starting to accept her true self. And as for Sprig, the reason he wanted mrs Boonchuy to be his family was that he craved for parental connection since his own mom and dad died. So I'm so happy he got it.
Yeah it’s honestly one of the reasons Sasha’s arc and character is my favorite character in the series.
Y’all should watch Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Great series so far and becomes Serialized by the end of the first season!

Infinity train is the best replacement for story cartoons
Just noticed a sneaky Gravity Falls reference in episode 2. When Polly's yelling at the two girls on the trike and skateboard, the girls look like older versions of Wendy and Tambry from the Soos' Birthday episode when Dipper and Mabel meet their younger selves.

If you go to their community tab on their channel (you'll have to enter desktop mode if on mobile) and scroll down they will say both Ducktales and Amphibia episode reactions weren't doing to well having the lowest viewer count on their channel so they decided to change the schedule to better fit current and future series/movies reactions.
Basically both Ducktales and Amphibia will now be released in their own single video bundle of multiple episodes.
Well they know too. They've already finished the series. They mentioned that in their reaction to The Owl House finale.

Yall need to watch infinity train after this. I can promise you that if you go in with the expectation that it is only half of a intended story it is still a fantastic 40 episodes of animation

For what it's worth, the fanbase has speculated that the Season 2 finale was delayed to include the new opening, specifically to make Marcy's fate less ambiguous... It doesn't seem like something that was intended to be there
I do believe it's a better overall experience to see it after meeting Cloakbot and Andrias reveals Marcy id in stasis himself, but I'm not criticizing; it aught to be up to the individual(s)
YES, when you’re done with this show you should definitely watch star vs. the forces of evil! It’s magical, veryy intense at some points and just fun to watch!

Swedish person here, the smelly fish is called surströmming (literally sour herring)! I'm from the region of the country that eat it the most, and I personally love it. You only have it once or twice a year in late summer, outside, and you usually put it on a flat bread with potatoes, sour cream, red onions and whatever other topic you come up with for the day, my personal favourite is a Västerbotten cheese mix, absolutely delicious. But yeah, if you're not used to the smell it is VERY different, and you should never open it indoors (and in water, just like you said) because the smell will stick to your walls. The taste isn't as bad as you'd think it is either, it's very fermented and very salty, but not bad by any means. If you ever get a chance to try it, DO NOT EAT IT AS IS, USE THE TOPPINGS

I'd also recommend Mairimashita! Iruma-Kun - it's an anime that has a very similar feel to stuff like Owl House (it's also apparently become a smash hit).

It´s gonna be hard for you guys to find something similair to Gravity Falls, Owl House and Amphibia, particulary cause you are already watching the two next best things (Steven Universe and Adventure Time) Star vs. is decent but not quite at that level, still worth a watch i´d say.

17:46 Huh. I just realized that Hop Pop was the only one to fail successfully. Unlike Sprig and Polly, he was able to make it through kiosk alley without falling for any free scams. He just attempted to rob a wishing fountain believing the money was free.

Reccomending Infinity Train! It's really hard to find, but it's definitely my favorite from this 'era' of cartoons.

I've definitely said this before but I recommend infinity-train, it's one of my favorite cartoons. It covers alot of mature themes and handles them with respect
another fun show to watch is called kipo and the age of wonderbeasts, its very underrated but its pretty cool

Rewatching episode four, drugged up Anne had some WILD foreshadowing.
For episode 7, bring some big diapers. Heath Ledger's Joker is less scary (to me, at least) than what you'll find there.
