@sobadstrange why do you use the campfires so frequently. You usually have nearly full health & spells, and clarity potions available? Is it just an overabundance of caution?

I've been watching many others play this game, and it's so much fun to watch, but you've opened a new avenue for me. Everyone else I've watched is actually terrible at the game, apparently. With your knowledge of the mechanics / enemies, little bit of sweat and a dash of goofiness thrown in - this kind of video is perfection.
How does your build compare to melee paladin style? I always wear full plate, aiming for half of my gear being +all and other half +weapon damage and just taking melee fights (after opening with Judgement) while fully buffed. I've never used Holy Strike, I just take Sanctuary as additional bit of survivability, since I very often play the swarm.
As a barbarian main, any spell casters are an instant panic button for me. But cleric and bard are the scariest. I went head to head with a bard and when I died I clicked over to him. His HP was full. So he either took very little damage or he was able to heal the damage faster than I could dish it out. I heard him buffing from the next room over so I knew it would be tough, but that was nuts.
surprised you didn't mention warlock when talking about what other classes could survive in that room with the fighter boxing you in, seems like the textbook case for phantomize

Sobadstrange you think you could make a guide on not getting shit on as a solo? I know all the vids are kinda that but like more focused on peasants like me that haven't extracted in the last 2 weeks of playing (like 14 hours of gameplay)
I personally see less geared people in HR Crypts (not sure on Goblin Caves) than normal these days. I prefer to run HR for the naked quick zero to hero runs. Kind of feels like the day of wipe.
Exactly what everyone in here is saying. I turn liquid wealth into rubysilver ingots, gold keys, or buy really expensive gear. I give away a golden key every day on stream as well.
if you're wearing light armor then yes because of how steep the curve is at the bottom levels of armor. going from 0 to 10 armor is big. but going from 200 to 210 armor isn't noticeable

some of the grimiest gameplay ive seen, sometimes in good ways sometimes in just downright shameless ways i respect it to some degree, the game doesnt hold punches either i guess, and I mean it IS HR after all

Why do you divine strike then prot when pre-buffing? one is 20s the other is 30s, I'd prioritize the latter so strike doesn't expire earlier

he's using because its a skeleton, the stats make you objectively weaker to everything except wizards

do you play in the same gear in 3s or do you use plate?
I use half plate and swap divine strike for large heal. Swap protection from evil perk for heal self for 15% of healing given.
What you did too that rogue was a d20 deception check.
How comes you pick Earthquake over Bless? Seeing you prebuffing but never using Earthquake 🙂
Earthquake has a way longer cast time but i have killed many people with it. Situational spell for sure.
