Jermone Bettis barber need a damn medal. Keeps his hairline crispy with the hair dye. I would have never noticed until I saw the light reflecting off it on certain angles
Been an Irish fan since 1970 and The Bus is one of my all-time favorites. He ran around 'em or through 'em, and his desire separated him from the few running backs who could match his skills.
It's crazy how much the Culture has changed...the method that the Coach used to motivate his star player by calling him out in front of the team would now be viewed as some type of harassing behavior and I guarantee the Media would run with it....Good On you Jerome for recognizing that it was being used to motivate you to work harder and become a Hall of Fame player in the NFL

He was not great in St.Louis, and getting rid of him opened it up for a new guy, perhaps you've heard of Marshall Faulk? I'd say the Rams did alright letting Bettis go.
Bettis never played in St.Louis he played in L.A. He was a L.A. Ram. He and Kevin Greene we 2 of the last draftpics a few seasons before moving to St Louis
I remember Jerome's 1993 rookie year with the Rams. Every time I think of this guy, it takes me back to that year where he was named "Offensive Rookie of the Year".
@@johnny_b_ill Lol! Back in the old NFC west, the Rams didn't pose much of a challenge for the Niners (my team), at least in those days. But Ram/Saints always played tough games...twice a year back then.
Lou was a great motivator! As a Michigan alum, we would have loved to have Bettis at UM, but I guess no one from UM bothered to visit his home, thinking a Detroit guy would just choose the hometown school. Many from Detroit & elsewhere in MI, have chosen other schools.
@@fredled8773 If I remember correctly the majority of the passengers died on impact and it was noted that the terrain and animals made the recovery of the bodies difficult.
Imagine a life decision like that being made up by taping shoes! ND legends Bettis & Holtz! He's back in school now finishing his business degree, class act 100%
Im not Lou Holtz but I have a similar demeanor, and when he said Jerome would cost them a national title he was saying that the teams success depends on Jeromes success. Maybe im wrong but thats the way id see it.
That is an old basic training tactic. We are all going to have another 30 minutes of PT because Private Smith (or any random recruit towards the back of the formation) is not doing his pushups. He’s a buddy fucker.

Bessinger obviously trying to go after Holtz and it failed miserably as Jerome explains how much of a motivator Coach Holtz was.......a true legend in coaching. Nice try Bessinger, liberal fail.
Rashard Claxton he played linebacker at Kent state. He was also a commissioned military officer. You’re hating cause he’s white but you wouldn’t say that explicitly.
@@bigglilwayne7050 Chuck Knox was the coach of the Rams Jerome Bettis' 1st & 2nd years in the NFL. He also coached the Bills & Seahawks, as well as the Rams in the mid 70s. He was a great coach that I feel desearves to be in the Pro Football HOF. Even though he never won a Super Bowl. A lot on the same level as Don Coreyell.
I love Jerome Bettis....the best way to examine his legacy is to hear how much teammates loved him.
Watched Lou Holtz since Arkansas. Love that great American Man and Coach🤗❤🇺🇲
I'm a real American man and I despise that human turd Lou Holtz
If there is one thing we can all agree on, it’s that Jerome Bettis needed bigger shoulder pads
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the thumbnail. Ridiculous how big they were.
Mark Dudley - nah the pads need to get smaller - in fact get rid of the helmets and pads they don't need them.
The pros try to carry as little weight as possible. It is a desire for more speed. I think tech has made it possible for the pads to be smaller but still protect.
He has a giant head and it looks tiny compared to those pads LOL
Yo word lol

@ChiefKene nobody keep the same hairline from 1996 LMAO so yeah that barber deserves a medal
Theodore Bierbauer clearly you since you took the time to reply, goofy
Theodore Bierbauer well Jerome obviously does 🤔

He was out partying the night before.

Bensinger touched some live wires!
Detroit McKenzie own! His dad was the head electrical inspector for city of Detroit and was a real role model to his son.
You say that to kids now and you see them put in their transfer. SMH Love old school!
Exactly....
No kidding. Adults that coddle kids in that way are doing them such a disservice. Old school coaching took boys and made them men.
Good, kids don't want to be around human turds
Love the bus man. My grandson wears his number, we call him the bus too.
Coach holtz done me the same way...and I love him for that,I owe him so much....love ya coach
You own him?
What ? Called u out for not getting the water and towels for the guys fast enough? So you went on to be head waterboy
Da Bus 🚌. Love this guy, he epitomized what it was to be a Steeler.
The Bears are the Charter franchise of the NFL
The Bus!!! Being a Chiefs fan I would have loved for him to play in KC, class act!!!
Graham rockin that hungover look!
Seems like Lou Holtz had quite an impact on the career and character of Jerome Bettis
Too bad Holtz doesn't have character of his own
I enjoy these so much. Thanks.
Few people watch the original "Ghostbusters" and decide to ape Harold Ramis' look. Bold choice.
Does anyone remember when Bettis nearly cost his team against the Colts in the playoffs with a fumble on the 1 yard line? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
But Pepperidge Farms isn't just gonna keep it to Pepperidge Farms self 😆
Big Ben saved the game with a shoe string tackle. Went on to win the super bowl.
Yep...
Yes sir I remember that
Anyone else click this cause they were mislead by the title name 😂 Thinking Jerome Bettis was ashamed of Lou Holtz
Hey Jerome, 1990 called....they want that shirt back😜
Ohhhhh! Hatehatehatehatehatehatehatehate
Jerome is such a great guy. Great parents too. Pure class. Rams messed up trading him to the Steelers.
He was not great in St.Louis, and getting rid of him opened it up for a new guy, perhaps you've heard of Marshall Faulk? I'd say the Rams did alright letting Bettis go.
You're wrong. He told them to trade him because they drafted Marshall Faulk. He was told he was gonna be moved to Fullback and told them no.
My favorite Steelers ever imo and I'm a huge Steelers fan. Jerome was and is the most classy player ever. Good dude thru and thru
Bettis never played in St.Louis he played in L.A. He was a L.A. Ram. He and Kevin Greene we 2 of the last draftpics a few seasons before moving to St Louis
No. The Colts drafted Marshall Faulk. Research before making these comments. The Colts let him go to the Rams when they decided to draft Edgerin James
I remember Jerome's 1993 rookie year with the Rams. Every time I think of this guy, it takes me back to that year where he was named "Offensive Rookie of the Year".

Yup, another great prospect overlooked by Michigan.
Bettis recently explained why he didn’t go to Michigan on Big Ben’s show.
Lou Holtz lol u cant understand a single word coming out of that man's mouth

Anyone who played football can relate to the spat wrap moment. Football "swag" means so much sometimes 😂

No it’s just a bender.
I don’t watch football anymore but Mr. Jerome Bettis is a fantastic person

I'd been calling Bo schembechler, hay coach can I come home? IJS
Yeah.. we want you to go to our sckool..

Did this dude stick a fork in a light socket.
Good attitude from Bettis. Kids today would’ve sued the school and do a 90 minute interview on ESPN crying about it.
Coach Holtz did that too me to and im thankful for it now.
The Bus.
Lou holtz is an American treasure and Jerome Bettis is as well ❤
