There was a Copperworld Classic in Phoenix that there were so many supermodified wrecks that the cars all ran out of gas from caution laps. Bentley was running that race. About 6 months later I saw him in the pits at Sandusky and asked him what he thought about the Copperworld super modified race. Classic response " Eff'd up"
This is a great clip and brings back memories of watching Bentley race. I also remember Eddie west used to drive to 61 junior at star Speedway in the 70s And was very successful.
For the love of God talk about him and that car he won two classics with that car one Oswego speedway championships and multiple races.... That man is a living legend in Oswego!! There are men and there Bentley

Saw him run at Dayton Speedway in a super modified race. Quickest cars I ever saw there. It was near the end of the speedway life.

He did have a fuel leak that’s that’s what they were scrambling he didn’t have a fuel leak on that race car so that’s why he wasn’t out there long
