HI WENDY/SWEET LEO-THANKS FOR THIS IDEA-I HAVE THAT KIT -AND NOW I HAVE NEW IDEAS-YES-ITS REALLY SCARY HERE TOO-IN GA-JUST PRAYING FOR EVERYONE,AND CRAFTING-MAY GOD BLESS EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD-TFS-HUGS/BLESSINGS
Love these. This video actually made me cry. I just lost my 18 year old cat 4 weeks ago and he always did the same thing whenever I got my craft supplies out. Give your baby extra head scratches for me.
This is a great idea I believe that I will add a few of the butterflies to my beautiful The Collector journal I purchased from you. Stay well my friend.
These are super cute and I have some tiny maple leaves that I have dried I think they would be super cool to use. Thanks for the inspirations & take care!
Very nifty idea & thank you for sharing because I have some of those coin protector's, so I will give a try & Tina is a lovely person with lots of great ideas, which I have been watching her videos since she started her RUclips channel & I've also ordered a few of her digital prints off of her Etsy shop & want many more of them. Anyway, thanks again & take care, Lily
Lovely project, Wendy. Another option for this sort of need is to buy empty nail polish bottles (from Amazon, of course) and fill with the adhesive of your choice. You can use the built in brush to spread the glue. Take care. Diane
Very good mesures, and hopefully on time to beat this thing. Europe is getting worse and worse. We are home, my kids and I, only hubby is going to work (for now) (we are wealthy but home grounded) . All non essential shops and events are closed (shoes, clothes, musea, bars, restos,...). Schools are closed since Monday (writing on Wed 03/18/20), more than 500 people in intensive care and 14 death, here so far in Belgium, (who is one of the smallest countries in Europe), and more coming. So, yes, it's a good thing to be quick with drastic mesures to protect people! Hopefully the American continent will learn from us, like we already learned a bit from China. We are all on the same boat, here! AND Yeay for social medias in this time!! Great project, Wendy. Take care!
I'm going to try stamping the back of a die cut with text and see if that is interesting for the back side. Just ordered some coin protector cards. Ooooohh, I'll pull out my jig saw puzzle pieces to make dangles at the same time. Love your idea!
I love these. I actually found some of the coin holders that have a peel and stick side that work perfectly for these. I instantly had to make a couple of these. Your projects are so inspirational to this newbie!
I just had an idea for making the images symmetric. Print out one copy and then print out a mirror image of that copy. Most printers allow you to do that and then it would not be quite so difficult to match the butterflies up. These are so very cute and would work for pressed flowers too! Thank you.
Thank you for giving me an idea on how to use these. They've been hanging around the house for years. Going to try the mirror image printing and a few die cuts. Love listening to you, so calming and you sound like my aunt whom I adore. Thanks again.
Love these butterfly dangles. I hope your family stays well. Here in Maryland all schools, colleges are closed for an extended period of time and many people are working from home. My daughter is on Spring break this week and will continue to be home after that and have all her college courses via the computer.
Great idea. As always love seeing Leo. And hearing Stella in the background. We are all in this together. Everything closed down here too in Ohio! Well I should say all of the US. Take care and be well. As always TFS! ❤️
That is an awesome idea! I collect foreign coins, so I have these holders already. I get mine at Hobby Lobby. I am going to try making some of these. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Wendy, those specimen slides are really really stunning and gorgeous, and I really really love 💕 how you’ve got them on the side. It shows them in a different way. Say hello to Leo 🐈 and Stella 🐶 too. And please keep well and away from this awful corona virus 🦠. We have just one in Portsmouth at the moment, fingers crossed 🤞 that’s the only one, and that he/she makes a good recovery too. xxx Mags
I forgot to mention...the images from Tracie fox at Love Junk Journals and Tina at ShabbyDabbyDoDah ... are gorgeous!!! Such lovely ladies you all are. 🥰
I too have made these after finding coin frames at a flea market about a year ago. Your idea of using an eyelet is fantastic...you’re always so clever. Thanks so much for your ideas, Wendy!😘
What a fun video! I really enjoyed it! I’m glad your well. I’m in Washington state and staying home. I don’t feel everyone is taking this seriously tho. I hope they do before it’s worse. Take care. Hugs, Anna
Very cute idea! I print out my small numbers on sticky paper and also hope to avoid glue migrating in closing the coin holders by using a tape runner. Either way, great way to spend our time in isolation! BTW, the little glue dispensing bottles may be bought generically as “syringe” bottles and are also ideal for dispensing paint or ink such as Dr. Martin’s in droplets for other mixed media projects.
Great idea..love them 👏👏 😍 It should just like in my country..everything is closed schools and educations and every job that hasn’t had any kind of services..doctors, supermarkets, fire apartments etc. yesterday every border was closed in and out of our country. My mom with lung cancer and my husband who has lunge illness are not going out. So everything is very scary I hope you and your near ones are doing well...blessings to everyone 🙏❤️
Thank you for the well wishes! We have no one with "it" in our county to date. Wish you health and the best, too! I love this project! I don't have those coin holders, but I think I can make them with the circle dies that I have! Hugs!
@@WendysJournalAdventure Great idea. In my 81 years I have never seen anything like this pandemic either . Prayers being sent to you and your loved ones for safety from this virus. God bless.
I see the Etsy shop is out of the coin holders. FYI they are actually called coin flips and you are using the large 2x2 size. They can be found on Amazon 100 for $6 US. Great idea for all kinds of projects! TFS!
Loving these Wendy what a fantastic idea. I ran over to ebay and brought a stack. Your lady had sold out. I don't have a die machine so this is perfect thank you for sharing and inspiring. Keep well.
Thanks so much for the shoutout! The link to the coin holders shows it is sold out but, trust me, it is not. I have plenty in stock. I have also been including a small page of double-sided butterflies for use with them. I just came up with the idea so I apologize to anyone who ordered before and didn't get one. The shop is carolaine.etsy.com.
On my computer when I am in edit the image if I move the curser over to the left the image flips over side to side this may help in the matching of the image back to back. Love all you do, so inspiring.
Lovely, as usual, Wendy! A thought: If you put the eyelet into the OPPOSITE corner (diagonally) from the one you're using, would that not help the coin holder stay closed better? And, as always, thank you for sharing your talents.
Ok Wendy...these are things we can make...no need to purchase and spend more money...3" punch and vellum from junk mail... But i do love seeing Leo...lolol
Hi Wendy, another great project as usual! I wonder if you could help me a little more with the glue bottles, I checked under Darice and can't seem to find the ones with the metal tip! Do you possibly still have the number? Thanks, Barbara
Love the idea to use coin covers for this purpose! They turned out great!!! TfS! One idea: I'm sure there are Etsy shops, among other places, to buy pressed flowers. That would be a quick an easy content idea for these 😊 And, while supporting an Etsy seller is noble, you can get those washi stickers on AliExpress, likely for less cost 😘
I do love your cat, and this beautiful project of course
Shout out to Canada!! 👍👏💪. Putting their people first! ❤️

Hi Wendy👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻hi kitty. Great idea and great add on to a journal too.

Brilliant and beautiful! Ps: I love your project approval officer, I have one too, just different color scheme...
Please quit apologizing for small mistakes. When you delay a moment or whatever I feel better about my own errors!
You could also use dried flowers and leaves! woohoo...I'm excited to try this

I was just going to suggest the same thing. I hope you tried it and it worked!
I was just going to add the same thing! Great minds think alike.....etc. Very cute project!
Brilliant!
I think you can reverse the image in Paint. If not, Irfan does it for sure.
Great video! I just love these, Caroline is sold out so I will just make some from Scratch I don’t mind. Thanks for showing us how to make them.
These are lovely! Thanks for sharing! I think they would be a special element to a journal!
Just found you! Love your work and Leo is king!

Korsgaard Journals sending positive energy your way ❤️❤️
I think animals are very aware of camera. I think Stella just wants her 15 minutes if fame just like everyone else. LOL ❤

Wendy if you just catch the end of your sticker with your pin it makes it so much easier to separate, love the dangles tfs xx

I just made some slides today to refill my stash. Love your take on them
I see the Etsy shop is out of the coin holders. FYI they are actually called coin flips and you are using the large 2x2 size. They can be found on Amazon 100 for $6 US. Great idea for all kinds of projects! TFS!
Hobby Lobby has them for 35 pieces for $3.99 too, in the states. I used a 40% off coupon today
These are so cute

A little late but you can get the foil from envelopes or pastaboxes with windows🙂
Beautiful! Using double sided tape would solve the glue migration.
TFS, love this idea! We have a store in the small town where I live, like a dollar store and I have seen these coin cards there. Thanks again!
beautiful!
Love these!!
Nice... to keep them from being opposite direction one of them you print right side up, the other you reverse the images...
On my computer when I am in edit the image if I move the curser over to the left the image flips over side to side this may help in the matching of the image back to back. Love all you do, so inspiring.

Lovely dangles. Now what did I do with all those coin holders. I did not realize you were a fellow Canadian.
I am indeed! Thanks for watching!
OH what a great Idea, and I'm going to try to print the butterflies on my vellum paper... SO cool.
Great idea❣
I print all kinds of pics on traci g paper and it comes out beautiful.
Do you use an inkjet printer or a laser printer on vellum? I have an inkjet, but have never tried to print vellum in it. Will it set or smear?
If you use imaging software, you can also flip the image horizontally for a perfect match.
Ok Wendy...these are things we can make...no need to purchase and spend more money...3" punch and vellum from junk mail...
But i do love seeing Leo...lolol
Flowers Flowers ❤️❤️
Hi Wendy, another great project as usual! I wonder if you could help me a little more with the glue bottles, I checked under Darice and can't seem to find the ones with the metal tip! Do you possibly still have the number? Thanks, Barbara
Barbara Martin sure it was Darice 97908, I bought in Canada which might make a difference.
🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱💋💋💋💋💋❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ "HERE KITTY, KITTY!!" ❤❤❤❤❤
how about printing a second sheet in reverse, to match the first print out. Then it would be a mirror reverse image for the back side.
Just a possible tip, try printing out one sheet normal and the other sheet reversed....flipped.
😻🐾🐾♥️🥰💕
Love the idea to use coin covers for this purpose! They turned out great!!! TfS!
