What lovely tab ideas, Wendy! I like to use a decorative label punch, either as is, or cut in half, like you did the circle. I think Sandy's comment says the same. Tabs are so fun in a journal! Also, I *need* the directions for that crocheted pansy! Oh, my! It is adorable! If you could direct me to that source, I'd appreciate it! Hugs for your day! Peggy
Thank you so much Wendy, they’re all really really great 👍 ideas 💡 for tabs. I really really love 💕 them all. I really really appreciate your time and effort to bring this to us all. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
You've caused me to look at my punches in a whole new way! I have a couple of decorative "label" punches that when folded and cut similar to your circle, create some beautiful and interesting tabs - thanks, Wendy!
Love all of these and since I'm so close to Christmas, I have red and green thread in my sewing machine and use the tree and pine needle designs on my tabs so cool.
Thank you, Wendy! That was a great presentation! I think tabs give a lot of personality to a journal. I like how you turn the circle around and I’ll be doing that and the vellum tag, for sure!
Great video! Wendy, I like to take about 3" of a branding strip off of a piece of scrapbook paper, and glue it along the edge of my page so it hangs over, and then I attach a bulb pin to it and hang a charm or some beads.
Hi Wendy, thanks for sharing your tab ideas, I will write them all in my idea book. The velum was my favourite, I m definitely going to try that one for sure. Thanks for sharing, keep safe. Xx
Great little demo! The velum one is a nice fresh idea especially with the sticker/flower etc on the inside! Brilliant! I also really liked the artificial leaf especially if you were doing a nature journal. The key would be finding an interesting leaf like you had. Thanks Wendy.
These are brilliant! Some I knew but others were new to me! I use old book page to make tabs with a tab punch. The vellum tab is so creative, I see so many things that could go inside them, thanks for sharing these with us! 🤗🤗🤗
This is a great video to watch! I learned a few new tricks and was reminded of ones I haven't used in a long time. Thanks Wendy! You're the best.... and Leo!
This was great! I made each on three times, put on edges of paper, and wrote letters showing 2 of my friends. Keeping on for reference. Thanks so very much.
Thank you Wendy! It is nice to have them all in one video. Love your new vellum idea. I'm thinking that would look nice in a botanical journal, would look like a sample/specimen. Love to you and Leo!
I like how the vellum looks with the zig-zag stitch. Sometimes i will use scrap bits from when i make tags. When I cut the corners off, i will round the triangle then use that as a tab, I also embellish it a bit. Or i use a small circle punch as a tab 😋 (mine is a 3/4 inch circle punch)...I have a small sakura punch and I have used that as a tab too. I think it looks cute 😊
Awesome ideas Wendy! Love all of them. Number 7 could also be folded over and added as well. So many possibilities. I love these type videos. You have the best ideas. Definitely going to use all of these. Wish I had a whale’s tail punch but these are great tabs! Hugs! ☀️🤗
So many possibilities Wendy - still wish for a Whale Tail but know it's not likely. Love the vellum idea and labels are the "in" add on right now so great choice. Love everything you share. Stay safe, stay well.
