Another answer that missed the video: no zones will be as small as MM zone 3 or BB zone 1 but one area in malaks level might be but all small areas are for cutscenes or level progression.
Vince never said that we have to do levels deathless in order to have the True Ending I think, he only said that there is an "other condition" that needs to be fulfilled that aren't S-ranks
