SYD AND THE INTERNET - HOW TO SUCCEED CREATIVELY

- There's a lot to take from Syd's transition from Odd Future DJ to lead singer of The Internet. 'Finding growth on the edge of your comfort zone' is a solid and true piece of advice for anyone looking to grow and create.
It's a hard piece of advice to take too. The gig that keeps you up at night, or art exhibit that will force your work out into public. Maybe it hasn't happened enough yet, but every time I've managed to push through a boundary and get past an anxious sticking point, it's been a properly significant pathway to growth. If anything in the video sticks for you, let the community know below, or share your story.
Thanks for all the support that people have shown the channel. If you know someone who might enjoy the videos, consider sharing it over to them this week. Wow. This brings me back to your Rocky video where he said 90% is editing. Yet here we're exploring how overthinking can 'kill' the vibe. Such a hard balance to find. But I respect that, whatever field you're in, trusting your own process will get you there. Thanks for the beautiful videos, you're doing your part!
Thanks Jessica. Yeah I think you're right, the individual process bit is super important. I think Syd is talking about overthinking with her and the bands original ideas, whereas Rocky was talking more to the editing process that comes on shaping the album and filling out a full concept. But yeah, that was just my take and there's always going to be overlap. Thanks for dropping your thoughts, glad you're engaging with the videos.
I hope you all come back together for another album 💛
that last line syd said hits hard.
