Oh, that top part has it's own suspension system?? That's pretty neat, you don't really have to worry about the large rocks breaking stuff (as much...I'm sure there's still possibility of welds breaking or something)
I flew out there on the 4th and got stuck on the Alberni side of the island for the week because of that highway fire. Had to take a small flight from Alberni to Qualicum just to escape back home to Ontario. Not that I wanted to, I love the mountains.

Andy is awesome! Material looks mostly "light" but because of the big boulders I think if you follow it down to bedrock or clay will produce better results. Lack of clay is a flag that you need to go deeper. Im sure you will hit a pay layer!

You can use your drone to take pictures if a given pile of material or a hole and then, using photogrammetry software determine very accurately what the volume is.

Not much gold considering the cost of running equipment, wear and tear on equipment, etc
I think he said it costs about 200 a day in fuel, and his goal is to recover 1000 a day in gold, that is not a bad pay check. But I assume he would like more.
One thing I noticed, a lot of the rock coming of the trommel still has a lot of dirt on it, dirt = gold, does Andy rerun the larger rock ? or maybe worth hosing down the tailings and running the dirt from that area, just a thought.
He could feed 50% slower and wash much better better and might give a 1-2% increase in gold, for the cost of 50% less material going through, meaning 50% less gold in the end, for a 1-2% gain.

He owns the equipment outright, I think he said about $200 a day in fuel, no real claim fees. No repairs that day, little in depreciation value. So about a $800 paycheck for the day.

After polling my patreon members, they said they would rather their pledge go towards me making more content than me sending patrons gifts. I do try and respond to every patrons, questions, However this time of year I spend about 5 days a week on the road mining and filming and only about 2 days a week at home on the computer editing and responding to messages.

It is REALY hard running a mine site AND running a youtube channel. Either one is more than a full time job. I think Andy had to dedicate some time to making sure his mining operation was a success. It is quite possible splitting his time between both would ensure failure in both. It is one of the reasons I don't have a full blown placer mine going.
