Love the TinyHawk 3! I really learned on the TinyHawk 2 and the TinyHawk 3 is a great upgrade. Nice work doing the video with Teddy Bear - he really stole the show!
Bought this 6 months ago, upgraded to larger drones. But i still use the tinyhawk 3 for indoor flying and some casual outdoor flying on 2s. Its my favorite quad honestly. Its so durable and easy to repair if something breaks. Absolutely stellar!
dude... managing chaos, great stuff. one day you are doing epic adventures, the next drool and more drool. haha looks like a decent first kit reco. can't undersell the importance of a good receiver as a nice first upgrade from that
Loves that you have your boy with you teaching him the FPV hobby teaching the next generation As spending time bonding, I wish more fathers knew how to do that ,than the children of these days wouldn't be so wild.
Whoa!! Maaan my heart dropped when I seen ur dog jump at the drone!! Long story short...took me ten yrs to get a dji spark ( wanted a decent drone for so long ) but my second day of playing with it & my dog..the drone dropped in altitude when I turned and the dog jumped and CRUNCH !! Crushed the imu and gamble!! #DRONE DREAM 🚽🪠🧻
I flew my tinyhawk 2 today, and crashed it more times than I can count, but I did made it through two gates... I am starting small and working my way up.
My dog used to chase em before he lost his eyesight to diabetes had him a shaper image drone he still tries to chase it thanks for the vid happy turkey day love the coaster vids as well
Take your son to work day😊. You will look back and see that this was one of the best days of your life, not to mention embarrassing black mail stuff to show his future wife. It warms my hart. American needs more dads like you show us here. These days flee enjoy every moment. God Bless. Sincerely, Pops Fitch
Bruh those goggles and controller are a HUGE step up from the tiny hawk 2 freestyle, is what I started on and still my main goggles :( these have dvr and removable screen. It’s badass in my opinion
I also had the problem with the arm switch. You can easily change this in beta flight. Swap Aux 1 with Aux 3. Then the arm switch is up. ("arm", with "flip after crash") swap 😊 nice video🤟👍
Thanks man just about to get one of these cheap second hand. I really just wanted to see if I could actually do any freestyle. Some is better than none.
Man this is so cute. Love seeing the baby with you. Been with you over 2 years now. Still not got to try FPV. Do not know if I can fly with my eye sight. Have keratoconus. So I do not know if I can see in the goggles. Love all things drones. So thanks for sharing with us. It's a true blessing. Keep up the grate video's. God Bless.
Thanks for this. Your content really prompted me to get into FPV and I just used your affiliate link to buy the Tinyhawk III RTF kit. Love the channel and can’t wait to see what 2022 brings! Cheers.
Dude...I know I'm almost a year late, but great review. I just started getting into your content and as someone who is new to the hobby, your videos are super helpful. Also...Indy is my hometown! So awesome to know that a such a cool ripper (and great dad) lives in Nap Town!
Link please, Nurk... you have so many things... I came off social media because If I went to a pub and all those people were I there; I would go to a different pub. Thanks for the reply.... and thanks for the intro to beautiful footage from your perspective; the museum piece moved me! What is your website? ✌
I have a few questions is there always a signal cut in both the goggles and video recording or is it only really present in the video recording? Great review video!
Thanks for the great video. I started out too big with a build and programming the works. I had a fly away to Neverland and rebuilt the same drone. Then crashed in the water lol. I believe I'm going to get this kit with your link. I need something smaller to learn to fly with. Thanks
Holy shit those your goggles look pretty epic, what are they & what kinda price plz? Being the 1st thing I'm gonna upgrade..what pair could you recommend for about £200 tops? Thanks for your videos mate, very informative.
Never flown FPV... I have a Flysky FS-16X controller, and a pair of fat shark dominator goggles that have never been used. Will this controller and goggles work with this drone? If so, what do I need to buy, besides the drone?
how is the best for a beginner who never pilot drones before ? the tinyhawk 3 in rtf , the tinyhawk 2 freestyle in rtf , or the novice 2 eachine in rtf ? thx in advance for ur precious help :) sry for my bad english 😅
Hello, I have this kit but I would like a low cost 4 or 5 inch freestyle drone, if possible I would like to take advantage of the radio and the glasses, is there any way? Which do you recommend? I'm from Brazil! Friendly hug
Nurk can’t say anything that’s adverse to emax because they are the #1 selling RTF kits, so I’ll answer. I would choose Cetus Pro over for beginners, but I really wish that Cetus Pro kit was ELRS (I’m sure the next one will be, but who knows when they’ll release it). Anyways, the reason why the Cetus Pro is better for beginners imo is that they put a lot more thought into the progression and functionality of the drone. It steps new pilots gradually using different modes and rates to grow into the drone. The Cetus Pro was designed specifically for that purpose, whereas this Tinyhawk is still the same drone they made 2 years ago with a few minor changes and a brand new goggle/controller. That’s really what they are selling here. Nurk didn’t like wearing the goggles. No one does. The screen thing is a novelty, but is it worth it? Bleh. If you have money to throw away, I guess. Controller is D8 and tries desperately to look like DJi. Makes me vomit. I have a feeling they will eventually sell a ELRS conversion kit like BetaFPV did, but emax progresses so slow.
@@eternal5921 honestly, I would recommend getting something like the jumper t-lite as your controller, practice on a sim for 6-10 hours (especially throttle control), and then get a good 1S drone that isn’t “beginner” like Meteor 65, Mobula 6, or the Nanohawk X to practice flying acro on.
How does this compare to the eachine novice 3 Whoch one should I pick? I mean I wanna freestyle outside a bit but flying in my house does sound pretty cool to me too
What’s better if he mobula 6 or the th3? By better I mean what electronics are more durable? I have heard some had things about the mobula happybee board
I was never going to be able to use these goggles that come with the tiny hawk kit, I am old and need reading glasses now. I got a digiadapter and a rapid fire module today and am now flying my tinyhawk 3 using my dji v2 goggles. 🙂😄😁😀
awesome little kit! My son is 3 and i can promise that your boy will keep on messing with your stuff from here on out! lol. Idk how many times I have found my tinyhawk out of its case in one of his toyboxes, or come home to a whole gopro/joby vlogging setup totally missing out of my stash.
I really want to get into FPV but its not a cheap thing to get into. Is this the best package for a beginner to start with or is there a better option? This one seems priced well but how quickly are you gonna feel like you want to upgrade any of the equipment?
Depends what you like mate, if you think you are going to just whoop then go for it but if you like the look of freestyle then spend time on the sim and go from there, imho I believe it’s a fallacy to start on a whoop if you aren’t going to be flying that style, I know plenty of people who started on a 3,4 or 5” quad, this “progression” thing starting on something that flies completely different to what you are moving onto next is nothing short of ridiculous but then that’s just me 👍 However what I will say is even though I started on a 4” quad I’m here looking at this fantastic lil whoop all this time later and considering it 😅 If you can fly a freestyle quad you can fly a whoop, not sure it works so well the other way around but it wouldn’t be too far off as long as you haven’t been flying in level/angle mode the whole time 🤝
@@bugsy742 ok, that makes sense. I’ve thought these were cool for flying inside and getting into the sport but ideally in the future if I enjoy doing it think I’d like to get a larger quad for outside. I just don’t want to waste money and it’s not a cheap hobby to get into. I kind of like the suggestion of starting on a sim but have no idea what equipment I’d need. Assuming headset and controller but again what’s a good option for a beginner that won’t break the bank but I’ll also want to use for a while.
Mob6 for drone, Jumper TLite for radio, skyzone CobraS/EV800DM for goggles. Bunch of batteries. Join a discord and you'll have all the help you'll ever need to set it up and any issue that arise. The drone is all plug and play so you won't have to solder should you break anything in a major crash, but it flys great inside and out and you can modify it as you go very easily to alarmed 75mm frame if you would like better outdoor performance. I hope it goes well for you mate, but I can't recommend joining discord enough for beginners as you'll get help so easily and feel comfortable getting I to the hobbie.
Have a tinyhawk 2 and I use 300mAH tat 2s batteries. Perfect starter whoop that doesn’t break the bank, even if you completely destroy it. I will say it is almost impossible to repair if you really break something.
Great video! Love the style you have going on! If I were to buy this kit...is there a bigger drone that I can use with the controller and goggles? I’m looking at getting into the fpv hobby and know I’m going to want to get a drone I can start to do some freestyle with pretty soon! Thanks for anyone’s help in advance!
Great review, thanks! I got the RTF kit and I have to say if you don't have a tiny nose the goggles really aren't working for you. They are just not made for bigger noses, and it's such a pity.
What is the estimated range for these without losing visual in the goggles? Out from about 100yards +/-, I frequently lose video on the goggles and I panic hoping the picture comes back. Is that normal? Is there anything I can do to extend the range? Is the image effected by power lines at all?
Paul, your camera man is AMAZING - not terrible. :P

Stress-testing the drone by having your child chew on it and dogs bite it was a stroke of genius. Lovely review :)
I have a big goofy smile on my face whenever I watch your videos. It is fun and entertaining. Thanks.
Your child and dogs made me smile during the whole video, great review, might buy this one as my first fpv!!!
Love it 🙂
