  • Pacific Coast Shay No. 7 (former Klickitat Log & Lumber - St. Regis Paper Company) operating at the now-closed Camp 6 Logging Museum, Tacoma, Washington. The 14 acre museum in Point Defiance Park was established in 1964 and closed in 2010. No. 7 is now at Roots of Motive Power, Willits, Calif.

    I honestly think it would be great to get this historic shay in operation again Photographer Hank Griffiths made several videos of that shay in revenue service on the Klickitat Lumber Company as seen in the Pentrex video Big Boys Cab Forwards Challengers and Daylights

    Is Willits, California part of the California Western Railroad?

      Yes, I believe so. The majority of the pieces at camp 6 were donated to Willits after the closing of camp 6. Along with the museum in Forks, Wa I believe.

    Isn’t that shay at Jamestown?? Or am I thinking of another locomotive
