James played the wraith perfectly. He is a gifted actor and brought different personalities to each one. Shawn or the wine drinking wraith is my favorite cause he really had an extra creepiness to him and a unsettling elegance. Would not be hard to believe that he was some son of a wraith queen set off to worlds to make deals with the humans. Thanks for an awesome interview.
Thank you for this enjoyable interview. James is such a charismatic guy; he's multi-talented yet remains humble and always shows a deep respect for everyone he's worked with. I loved the way he was so enthusiastic when answering the fans' questions and gave us detailed and amusing answers. David's interview style was also excellent - it is so refreshing to have a Host who allows the guest the time to talk and doesn't keep interrupting! The rapport between David and James was lovely and they both came across as intelligent, friendly and adorable people!
Of all the Wraiths he played, Steve was the most memorable. Something about the shape of his eyes, the prosthetics, and the lighting made Steve a very unsettling and oddly charming wraith in SGA. Really gave off that alien vampire impression that others never matched.
Most engaging Interview w/Stargate Atlantis Actor James Lafazano: Amazing force talent w/his many haunting faces (Commander Steve & Bob Wraith are my fav ...deadly smooth, the Trashy desert Wraith, and the snobby Scientist Wraith that worked w/the Queen) are just a few of the many faces of Wraith that JAMES played so cleverly superb n scary!!!😱 The amazing Wraith Actor💫s C. Heyerdahl/Todd, Ms. Frizzle/the Queen etc,. J. Lafazano/Steve etc,. etc., and Trinneer crazy Wraith Micheal are ALL quite unforgettable. Col. Sheppard Actor Joe Flanigan named them perfectly. I cannot agree on wraith being on a lower energy frequency. To me they are the next step in evolution. In the eyes of a prey a predator is always evil. It is a matter of perspective. I think they are beautiful and terrifying in thesame time.
