- 'Sister Wives' stars Janelle, Robyn and Meri get emotional about Christine leaving their plural marriage with Kody. The two ended their relationship back in November, while season 17 of the hit TLC series was filming. When the split was announced to the other wives, it wasn't easy for them to take in. 'Sister Wives' airs Sundays on TLC.

That's usually what happens when the father is only a sperm donor. Christine and Kody were never legally married. She is a single mother to all of her kids. Kody could be on the hook for child support, though. LOL That's what he's actually afraid of!

I’m so glad Christine took Truely out of that toxic environment. Had she considered 50/50, he would have devalued Truely just like he has done with so many of his other kids. She’s better off only seeing him occasionally if ever. Narcissist fathers are terrible for children to have to survive

@@rachybaby72 yes, I agree but at what point do you forgive someone especially when you know she only reached out because her relationship with you was basically nonexistent and she has really been trying to make it work between the two of them and remember when she said she’s been waiting on him to say he’s ready and he said to her “ you’re waiting on me to come and I ain’t never coming” how hurtful that was for him to tell her that on their anniversary last season I believe.. he’s just an verbally abusive narcissistic man that believes that perceives himself as someone knowledgeable and smart and handsome and he’s either the wives always came up with the plans on how to make money and handle the kids, etc., every time he did something on the spare of the moment like moving it became a disaster except Vegas.. Kody isn’t equipped to handle one on one relationship let alone a plural marriage. His comment about custody is about power and ownership not about being a parent, all about him his seed and nothing about what is best for a person that yes he “helped” to create but didn’t father. IMO he is toxic that will leave that child with trauma that she will have to deal with/manage for the rest of their lives.

For some, the promise of eternal subordination loses its appeal, especially when we begin to recognize how primitive, & one-sided the so-called “inspired” principle of plural marriage really is.

Do you guys forget how hard it was on Meri to have to legally divorce Kody for him to legally marry Robyn so that Kody could adopt her children? …. I noticed Kody treats the children based on his relationship with his wives. For instance he isn't getting along with Christine he makes no effort to see Isabel, or Truly. Its like he punishes the wives by disregarding their kids. Plus, his request for 50/50 isn't based on love or a relationship its control so he can control and dictate Christine since he is narcissistic. Thank Goodness she left him now if only Janelle could leave as well......Meri I have no hope for since she has stuck the last decade in a loveless lonely "marriage" she also grew up in the faith and her mom was a first wife so I don't think Meri will ever leave.

I’m totally against divorce. I think people get married unprepared and then separate without really doing the hard work most of the time. HOWEVER, Kody is blind. He doesn’t see or doesn’t care that he’s been completely selfish in his relationships with the other wives besides Robyn… and that’s only what we see on tv. I can’t imagine how it feels off camera. They are all nicer than I would be if my kids went weeks without seeing their own father.

I really think this show is a sad representation of a family. Cody is all about himself which he’s using COVID as a crutch to be absent from his children. I think all the women need to leave this man he really need counseling and the wives and children need it as well to heal . It’s very challenging to be married and have a successful marriage with one husband and one wife I can’t imagine living as this . As an audience watching reality tv it’s nothing I see where this reality show should be on tv all we see is people having conversations it’s no real look into how all of these families really live .
