• Enlarged porta hepatic lymph nodes noted, largest measuring 18 x 15 mm. • Enlarged precaval lymph node, measuring 20 x 16 mm. • Gall bladder distended with calculus measuring 7 x 12 mm. • Enhancing nodular lesion measuring 13 x 12.5 mm noted in the region of pancreatic head and another nodular lesion with contour bulge measuring 13 x 10 mm in the region of proximal pancreatic body in the posteriar border. - MPD appears mildly prominent in the proximal body measuring 6 mm. - Spleen appears normal in size. No focal lesions identified This is from my father's scan report. Doctor says it is tumour and recommends biopsy. how much possibility of cancer here? If it is just tumor, what will be the next step. And what will do the next if it is cancerous? What will be the result of surgery or any other treatment in both cases? Pls reply
Tumor possibility is quite high Usually do EUS + biopsy General rule of a cancer is if spread is less prognosis is good Rest of the things your doctor will answer
