It's very easy to get sucked into the humdrum ordinary life here, so I do still enjoy watching tourist's videos as it inspires me to get myself out of my city and see more of Japan. (Of course when it's safe to do so again!)

We were in Japan at the same time during the summer this time! My trip was for most of June :) We stayed close to Harajuku and it was even more amazing than the first trip! I still dream about Family Mart. I've gotten into PreCure now after kind of shuffling past that store in Character Street previously, but since it airs in the same block as my favorite shows (Kamen Rider & Super Sentai) I was always curious about it and decided to jump in with Healin' Good, so next time I'll definitely enjoy it too! With the world on quarantine this is such a lovely time to be able to watch your vlogs again. They seriously heal my heart!

There was a Pretty Cure show at Yomiuri Land last Sunday, but there were restrictions where you'd have to book your attendance in advance and no photo ops, or meet and greets because of the pandemic.

Dont know how many times I have watched this video. (Help! I am supposed to be doing other stuff). Its been such a long time and I did not realise the extent of the Peachie shaped hole in me until your wonderful return. So inspirational. Illness and Corona, cheated me of a return to Japan, so I need all the substitutes I can get and your vid is so welcome. I so much appreciate the hard work you put in to take me with you. You convey the ambience of the place like nobody else can and it makes me go all nostalgic but also excited like crazy and utterly determined to go back to Japan soon, no matter what. The place where you lived, looks very comfy and the drawers full of accessories is just hilarious. Thanks for being the warm and wonderful you.
Ahhhh, it majorly SUCKS how many people missed out on their holidays this year!! I know just how long it takes to save up, and how much dedication people put into preparing for the trip. To have it all be for naught is just awful. *big hugs*

This makes me miss Japan so much. I went last summer on a school trip (with the geekiest teacher and my french teacher). It really was the most amazing trip I have ever been on. It was a really quite diverse group of Scottish teens: me who is into girly alt fashion, anime and Japanese culture, a couple of boys who like anime or are super into exploring new places, an edgy alt girl into the culture too, a couple of girls who wanted to see something else. Time if my life 😭😭 I plan on returning for a few weeks when I get loads of money

I love your travel vlogs peachie!!! Did you teach yourself how to edit all that footage from the trips? All the episodes are so fantastic and easy to follow along with. I tried to vlog my trip to europe in 2017 and I just gave up lol
AWWWW thank you so much, I feel very appreciated haha! Well I've been making & editing videos since my dad taught me around 10 years old, so I've had 20 years of practice haha.
I use iMovie, which is very accessible for beginners. If you use a Mac, I'd recommend editing in that- because it comes free with all Mac computers/laptops (and I think iPads too?) Just note editing does take a lot of time, I spend over a week editing each episode and that's not including days off. It's okay to do it slowly!

Exact figures aren't too useful especially due to fluctuating/differing exchange rates and crazy world stuff at the moment, BUT I am definitely planning some Japan trip advice videos soon! And it'll include some helps with costs to expect etc 😊

Glad you enjoyed!! 💕 If I remember correctly, they were about 3,000 yen (Around £20 GBP / $28 USD)
And yes I got them at an aiport :) They have a big toiletries & cosmetics store inside Haneda airport, near the luggage storage & delivery area.
Princess Peachie Thank you so much for letting me know. Last time I took my ghds the voltage didn’t make them heat up as much so it seems better to just buy some at the airport that will actually work. 💕💕
atinkerfairy Yes, that’s right! UK plugs don’t work well (and in fact may be dangerous) with Japanese/US plugs when converted because they have a almost double the voltage 😂
