Habit Rouge in Red China! Fabulous. favorite HR is the EDT. SOTD: I just got out of bed so I don't know yet. Watching from Olympia Washington. Cheers my friend.
Thanks for that insight into Chinese life. That guy on the motorcycle is hilarious! Watching from Germany. Haven't tried Habit Rouge so far. SOTD is gonna be Petit Matin.
Been ages since Ive been to Hong Kong and Tokyo but pleasant memories remain. Never mind that I got left behind at the Tokyo tower by the tour bus! Been wearing HR EdT for the past week here in L.A. Enjoy your stay!
Sotd:Songe d'un bois d'ete Just recieved a huge sample as a gift and I absolutely love it.Like you always said about it-smoky sweet resinous goodness!Hello from Romania!Enjoy your trip there!
A good friend of mine worked for Bose in Shenzhen another "small town" like the one you're in. I got to hear many wild and interesting stories about China. Scent of the day is houbigant fougere royale. Have fun over there.
Buddy, very little in China but HK is another story. It’s a haven for just about anything. For designer there are Sasa stores everywhere and Bonjour. Fanda has been around for ever in TST and in central as well. At lane Crawford and Joyce you will find the good stuff. The landmark in central is in central is good too. Just so much. Cheers.
Just ordered a bottle of New York Intense by Parfums De Nicolaï. Patricia’s version of the classic masculine fougere, highly anticipating that package arriving. SOTD Serge Lutens Fleurs D’oranger
Scents of the night - tried about half a dozen fragrances while at the Frédéric Malle meet-up at Barneys in San Francisco. Tried Noir Epices, Carnal Flower and Dans Tes Bras, plus Diptyque Tempo, Sisley Eau de Campagne and Maison Margiela Music Festival! I’m sure I smell like a hot mess, and I had to apologize to my Uber driver on the way home haha.
gosh i love all those! The Malles are beyond fantastic and I'm a huge Diptyque fan as well as JC Ellena created the Eau de Campagne. Have a great weekend!
U Smells Good Yep I was quite impressed by all of them! Can’t believe I walked out of there with only one bottle of Musc Ravageur. My self restraint was expert level yesterday, I guess!
How the heck did I miss this Bro…?!?! How was the trip!?!? I know it was solely for business, but I hope you still had a chance to unwind have a little rest & relaxation and such..... Good for You Sir in being so-open-minded that you’ll take on different challenges in life.... I’m proud of ya man. I know things went well, because you’ve gotten back safe & sound based on all your more recent videos.....
Hi Eugene. You’re not feeling that adventurous but I would, food regarding 😂 I would try as much local as would be possible 😆For me it’s Dress Code even though it’s not overly sweet but it does remind me of eating halva - this turkish desert - back in my childhood. SOTD: FM the night. UK. Cheers
Hopefully ill have more time this weekend to get some good food in my tummy, two things I've noticed about Chinese food is its way better than the stuff the serve in Canada (i.e. Mandarin) which is sweet, syrupy and salty and leaves you bloated and even more hungry and the second is the food is spicier than the devils anus lol
Thats a shame about all the littering, The edit is my favorite as well, but I'm still yet to smell dress code. Too expensive to blind buy and I haven't been able to sample, Guerlain is surprisingly scarce here in Philly. Beautiful day, SOTD is Cologne Du 68. Hopefully you find something to eat!
Just finished watching your video here in Oklahoma USA. My favorite Habit Rouge is l'eau because it is the only one I own and have smelled. It's also my first Guerlain. It opens with a nice bitter orange and jasmine and dries down to lovely vanilla and woods. This concentration has very good longevity as well. Could be worn year round in my opinion.
Amazing video!! Just seeing and hearing the way life is treating you in China is interesting as hell! I heard the cream of sum-yung-guy there is to die for! Watching from Detroit in the Murder Mitten. Sotd is Terre D’hermes
Nothing you mentioned sounds out of ordinary to me but that's what traveling can teach us - the world is big. Be open-minded, kind, and sympathetic. SOTD: Gincense by Oliver Co.
you are lucky that habit rouge is very highly honored in chinese fragrance community called nosetime(similar with fragrantica)but at the same time it's more like to get noticeable if you wear this fragrance in beijing or shanghai
I am digging your reportage--the delight in your face is patent! Yes, as my Chinese sister-in-law says so matter of factly, "Us Chinese, we eat everything--no waste!" Chicken feet are pretty tame fare from what I can tell. But I am a vegetarian and cannot really say either way. I hope you get to extend your future travels for work as well! Man, India! Long history of perfumerie in that country, the attars, perfumes and such from Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi would be an adventure! And imagine the Middle East! Your Habit Rouge sounds great. As for me, Houbigant's Quelques Fleurs Royale, wonderful to my senses, ambery citrus, sweetened by that floral honey and orris, with a generous dose of greasy sandalwood to make it sorta "slippery" and sexy to my nose. Some have said it smells "urinous," and I guess honey can smell a bit pee-like, but not to my olfactory senses. Great stuff! Keep the explorations and vids coming, xie xie!
So, I'm really curious as to your background? Big fan of pissy honey myself more so than the chicken feet, probably not the popular choice but perfumistas are weird like that.
U Smells Good Pretty ordinary life stuff by most contemporary standards. 3rd generation, short Japanese guy, born in Hawaii, and somehow ended up in Seattle with a class-A felony interest in Bollywood films and a heinous sweet tooth. No wonder I also obssess from time to time over fragrances. Ooof!
What a great fragrance, I own only Habit Rouge EDT and L`Eau, absolutely love both, EDT is really rich and sophisticated, very mature scent, would be really nice to see some nice flanker for it, maybe a darker version, something like Intense or Extreme.
Follow u from Taiwan Does habit rouge edt win any compliment from ur whole bottle journey,do u think this scent dna is outdated or just for age 35 and up Enjoy ur share as always Tks
The city u r in seems like u r in hebei province, n it's nothing like some other amazing cities in the country. You need to visit places like Dalian (Liaoning province) kun ming (Yunnan province) etc n of course Shanghai n Beijing. BTW I have spent several years in Dalian which is an amazing place to visit if u have time of course.
Hong Kong you will love. It’s not China at all and feels very western. English is like a joint first language. Been there a few times and also to China and Hong Kong is much more enjoyable.
Scent of the day - "Scandal" by Roja Dove. Check out our local (Toronto) fragrancebuy site, they have a few at a good price. I purchased three so far - Scandal, Vetiver and Fetish.
I'm holding my phone in such a way that my thumb is covering your shoulder so I can keep that creepy guy behind you out of the frame. Looks nice though. Enjoy.
Not a fan of Habit Rouge.By the way in some asian countries it's considered very offensive to overspray .I was kicked out of a nice restaurant in Japan (8-9 sprays of Spiritueuse Double Vanille was tre reason) and from a coffee shop in Korea because of 8 sprays of Noir de Noir .SOTD Cape Heartache by Imaginary Authors.
Different countries. Also depends where in China you live/work/travel...To be honest some (not all) cities in China are dirty are stink, but at the same time there are places in London and especially NYC ... where the smell is beyond "rotting shit".There's a rumor in Japan that fragrances made for their marker are watered-down because of this "i can't stand strong fragrances/guys to overspray" thing.
😂🤣im also a foreigner living and working here in china for many years now and i can tell that smelling good and great doesnt work in china🤣😂😅 if you wanna get impressions or test fragrances definitely not 🇨🇳 🤣🤣

Bonjour Eugene! My scent of the day is Pamplelune by Guerlain. I love Habit Rouge but my favorite fragrance from Guerlain is Santal Royal.

Look at the jay bird on the motorcycle behind you
I'm holding my phone in such a way that my thumb is covering your shoulder so I can keep that creepy guy behind you out of the frame. Looks nice though. Enjoy.
Hey man, favourite KISS album? Mine is Music From The Elder.

LOL! Really? They're ok with the sidewalks littered with garbage and smelling like rotting shit but perfume is offensive haha

SOTD - YSL La Nuit de L'homme Frozen Cologne. Rob - England.
Eugen is desperate for McDonalds, we won't judge you 😄
Japan would be more interesting to me versus China (Nothing there moves me). Habit Rouge edt and L'eau on my list. Watching from Colombia
Ya i would imagine Japan being much more modern and interesting in its own right.
Yekaterinburg, Russia is here :) Sotd: (will be, if the package has arrived) Derby (if not, then) Caron pour un homme
