Ford Mustang POV test with V8 SOUND

- POV angle of my Ford Mustang V8 being driven on UK roads.
There's a lot of testing that goes into filming my videos, getting things wrong is how I learn to get things right. It's been a while since my last video so until my next full video is ready I thought I would share this clip from today's POV and sound testing. It's taken me a while to get the angle just right, but I think we're good to go with it now!
No doubt my American subscribers will laugh at the steering wheel being in the wrong side!
Car videos are a lot of work, but seeing all the comments make me want to keep doing them. I've been super busy with work, but rest assured there are more videos being filmed and they will be posted on here very soon!

Honestly.
On a regular mustang GT the H pipe sounds great.
But I did the same to my Bullitt and I didn’t like it. The stock exhaust had a better tone. I think the Bullitt resonators are different to the GT and the H pipe removed that distinct Bullitt sound.
I drove alongside a Bullitt the other day and it sounded awesome, I thought better than mine (although I’ve not heard mine from the outside).
This sounds much louder/better than my pre-facelift with h-pipe. Think I need some new mufflers
The mic is right next to the exhaust, it’s not this loud in person! Might be a bit louder than yours but not that much.
Is Mach 1 with manual and tremec right hand stearing available in uk ?? I live in India.
Yes it is available. I couldn’t afford it though, and I like the ‘mustang’ branding instead of Mach 1 😊

Thanks Matt. I was out filming today but ended up just treating it was a test due to a couple of things that didn’t go to plan… I promise I’ll be putting something out very soon!

No idea, have a look on auto trader! Probably around 30-35k.
Love it! Do you daily her? And how much do you spend on petrol a month?
Yes! It’s my only car putting about 20k miles a year on her! Best mpg I’ve had is 34mpg (UK), and average with some spirited driving is anywhere between 20-25 depending on how you drive. It’s not THAT bad in fuel, considering you’ve got 450hp to play with.
I also daily mine but I have 8000 miles (because I am 22 and Insurance) so I do not drive as much as maybe other Mustang owners do. My best MPG was 38.4 (UK) on a Motorway run up the M1 from London to Sheffield - this was in Snow / Wet mode which does limit the fuel delivery. Normal driving, however, around town I'd say (with the rising cost of V-Power) I am spending £80 every two weeks. If you drive it everyday - far and wide (like I did in my first month of owning it) you can be filling up twice a week if you have a heavy right foot.
How often you fill up is not really an accurate representation of how much fuel the car uses. I used to fill up my Golf 3 times a week sometimes if I was driving it every day for work! MPG is the best way to compare, or miles per tank. 38MPG is VERY impressive on a 5.0 GT!!@@KingRowanda
@SantiagoPilgrim I will admit I reset my MPG as I joined the motorway from the fuel station and I joined on the M25 -> M1 at 9pm on a Sunday so it wasnt busy, good space and the Mustang in 6th gear just throbs along amazingly at 70🤣 but it was nice seeing it that high. Oh yeah that's true, I don't drive as much compared to when I had a VW Polo 🤣 I'd say I drive it 5/7 days, however, just no where near as far. It isn't a great assement, should have said I don't daily commute to work by driving.
For a live trip I've just done down to Dorset (UK) and back to the North (didn't reset my trip 2) so with someone motorway driving, twisty country lanes and some amazing scenery in a mix of rain and warm weather I did 690 miles with an average MPG of 27.4 and I wasn't trying to save fuel at all, just enjoying the V8.

Looking at the dash, looks like you've got it in Race mode (full open exhaust).... got any test footage with Quiet (windows down or up / both)?
Does sound much better though! Nothing like a good downshift and engine braking coming into a corner :)
