UK road trip in my Mustang GT
An epic couple of days in the mountains full of scrambling, struggle, campires and epic roads. It was my first time taking the Mustang to Wales since I bought it back in February. We got lucky and had a spell of dry weather and with it being mid-week the roads were next to empty. It's always fun heading to Snowdonia but this time it was extra special. This car just keeps on giving. Driving the car around these mountain roads reinforces for me the fact that I made the right decison i getting the Mustang with a manual transmission. Haha yeah it’s a great feeling eh! Mine is Kona Blue, it looks VERY similar! Yess head over to Modurstang or MAP if you’re up North, you can’t go wrong you will love it.

so me and 2 friends are going on a weekend trip in cars to the lake district for the first time, is there any nice roads or spots in the lake district that you would recommend for us to go on/to ?
Where we were it was Crummock water, it was scenic but the roads were not suitable for fast driving. I found far better open roads in Snowdonia (see my other video), but I really haven't seen too much of the Lake Distrcit to don't take my word for it. Have fun!

@@s550days 22' GT premium with a Whipple supercharger, racing tune, and other mods. 850 horsepower. Stock GT is normal traffic
@@user-xe3qh3zj5y Stock GT is far from normal in the UK. Just because you think you're billy-big-bollocks with your whipple doesn't mean it's the right car for me. I daily drive mine so the economy of a supercharger would ruin me, I also can't afford a further £10k. I'm quite happy with it stock (with H-pipe) 👍

Is it keyless, do you put in a pouch, I am worried someone might steal it if I get it
It is but on the facelift you can turn that off. I have also now installed Ghost Immobiliser so it’s pretty safe!

Just a question! How would you say the drone is after the resonator delete? I'm thinking about getting it done on my Mustang Gt as well, I'm just nervous about the possible obnoxious drone. Thanks!
I would say it doesn’t really drone. Also, if you have a facelift you can put it in quiet mode which gets rid of basically all the noise.

I LOVE seeing the Mustang here in England and other American Imports like Chevrolet Muscle-cars (I think was a Camero) I spotted at Widnes Market in Bright Yellow a month or so ago now. People over on this side of the Atlantic appreciate them and that's why Car manufacturers are catching on!
Yeah they are somewhat normal cars in the US but really special here!

Thank you. I will continue to do Mustang videos on here but I am focusing on growing my travel channel @santstravels as I find it easier to film travel videos. The driving videos get in the way of enjoying the drive too much.

How does this affect the particulate filter and the MOT?
It does not affect the emissions as the H-pipe is after the emissions part of the exhaust. It passes MOT's no problem. If the noise levels were to be accurately measured it would perhaps become a problem as it is louder than factory, but I can just give them the car with quiet mode on which makes it quieter than factory in normal mode so I don't ever see it being a problem.
Great video and apologies for it being so long after you released it. I would love to get a mustang and just watching videos to get an idea of what the reviews say. I’m also in the uk and love this iconic car. Have fun with it 👍🤗

I am the wrong person to ask about electric cars. All I can say is the Mach-e cannot be compared to any ICE Mustang. It's a completely different car.

Santiago I loved this ! (also hi neighbour we're not a million miles from each other!). I have had this Mustang itch for ages and I loved your video. The look of wonder on your girlfriend's dad face was so heartwarming to watch. I love what you said at the beginning - if you really want to do something in life... and while you prepare for the future, you need to realise how short life can be. I'm on the hunt for a Mustang Mach 1 and taking my time. I have a Supra GR Pro currently which is awesome, but... like I said I have this itch for the V8.

Was working in Chicago in January this year, enterprise rental company fucked up my order for a Corolla. Turns out their system only accepts US phone numbers and the UK phone numbers are 1 digit more so couldn’t call me to say that they didn’t have any stock. So turned up and couldn’t get a car, went back next day and again, no Corolla. Guy at enterprise offered me a v8 5L mustang and honoured the same price. Drove that for two weeks 😊 Beautiful car
That’s a pretty sweet deal! Amazing! It’s rare to get a v8 from any rental company in the US, you normally end up with an ecoboost!

Honestly. On a regular mustang GT the H pipe sounds great. But I did the same to my Bullitt and I didn’t like it. The stock exhaust had a better tone. I think the Bullitt resonators are different to the GT and the H pipe removed that distinct Bullitt sound.
I drove alongside a Bullitt the other day and it sounded awesome, I thought better than mine (although I’ve not heard mine from the outside).
Good video. I hired a Mustang convertible in Florida a few years ago and enjoyed driving from Orlando to Daytona, Key West and Miami. I might consider getting one when the time comes to replace my Maserati Quattroporte 👍
That's awesome! My first experience of a Mustang was also hiring one in the US. I think it's a common starting point for many! Maserati sounds awesome, and probably a bit more refined than the Mustang!

Bought my GT used with 12k on the clock, like a new car and not just the best Mustang I've ever driven but a really good GT by any standards. Owned it fifteen months now and still love it. Some people don't rate the Getrag manual gearbox but for my road use it feels fine. Tend to live in fourth and fifth most of the time because the engine pulls so strongly. Other road users seem to like it too and you receive some courtesy which is cool.

quick question. when contacting your insurance company, what did you tell them when getting the H-pipe fitted. did you say it was a modification to the exhaust or something along the lines of a new exhaust system even though it isn't a complete new system ?
