Might save tearing ligaments and rotator cuff in your shoulder too... Been off work for a month. Lucky me, MRI showed it was only a very small tear and is healing itself.
@@wrecks02 Pin pullers are a common thing here in Canada. I wouldn't be without one. Not only rip your rotator cuff but to many times in my younger days, grease n your hair or clothing off the upper 5th.
@@wallytimmins356 I think what you call a pin puller is a handle with a hook on the end so you don't have to reach under the trailer? Got em here in Australia too, I was using one as I'm too lazy (and fat) to try to wedge myself in between the mudguards on my lead trailer and the deck of the B trailer (B Double in Oz). Still did a job on the shoulder, thought it was up for its THIRD rebuild... Spose I could be called 'hard on the gear'?
Right, that is the first thing most old school drivers back up to help release the tension. Also having that hook for the 5th wheel handle,. also works for sliding tandeems on a trailer.
Becca, another GREAT VIDEO. I cant say it enough you are one of the happiest people that I have ever seen. Problems come up and you don`t panic or freak out. You just smile, laugh , make a joke and move on. Life is to short Wish more people were like you. Keep on making video`s and KEEP ON TRUCKING 🙂
That’s cool about that TA… if the owner is out there working hard, you know they’re going to take care of that place and strive to make it the best TA around! ‘Murcian Dream right dar!!!
Just a joy to see a young lady so enthusiastic about the work she does. I know a lot of people who could learn a lot from you. Always look forward to seeing what you've been up to. Good on ya Becca.
Becca, Very proud of you. I think I saw you last week. But didn't have the time to talk. I love watching your videos. You are awesome! I hope that I see you on the road again!
Keep up the good work----like your vids very much---you deserve a gold star for your professional approach to driving the big rigs----it's a real tough job and I admire you for the way you make it "BIG RIG BECCA"----OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic upload. Dogs shall be dogs I think. Your 2 pooches give a whole new meaning to the phrase "Hit n Miss" poor Benji doesn't need his fur dyeing 😂😂
Becca your new tarps are very wild looking ! I love em! I will tell you one thing you sure enjoy life and your funny too! Keep up the great videos I really enjoy watching them and I really enjoy watching you too! Mike wencho from Cleveland Ohio
Invest in the ratchet style winches for your 4in straps-they make it soooo much simpler when having to tighten down in spots that you dont have a lot of extra room as you do elsewhere along the slide for the winches
This channel is a real joy. I love that you wanted to be like your daddy and you just go for it. Cool that you're going to Warren. I live in Ypsilanti.
Hi BECCA. I have a 2020 frieghtliner cascadia and I had the SAME PROBLEM your haveing with the computer saying it wont shift or start etc..ETC.had the problem almost a year and noone could find it.. just happen that I brought the truck into frieghtliner for service and by the luck of God it HAPPENED to them. What it is it's a wire harness with exposed wires.. what I was told to do when it did hapeen is take the key out of the ignition for 20min and susposeivly it reboots the ecm. It worked most of the time for me.. GOOD LUCK getting it fixed and be safe MOTHER TRUCKER..
So proud of you big rig Becca LOL big rig Becca LOL kind of Rhymes even. Anyway I'm always happy to see your face I love the fact that you're doing so good and I hope you get 10 million viewers and mega million dollars a year keep going strong I'm proud of you
I have had the same problem with my 2021 Peterbilt, which is an automatic. It ended up being the automatic shifter on the side of the steering wheel . It had to be rebuilt. No more issues.
You probably know how to back up already, I usually do it with my trlr brk" On, and back up just a little, and it will release. the 5th Wheel release handle. Stay Safe out there.
Glad you got your truck back but something electrical seems to be your issue(not a mechanic lol). And you were about 30mins away in Midlothian lol. Safe travels always you and the doggos and appreciate the video
Another great awesome video Becca I have never seen a TA where they wash your windows for you that is a nice place that when you try to pull your fifth-wheel king pin out back up against the trailer and it will release a lot easier and get yourself a fifth wheel puller don't get the cheap aluminum ones get the ones that are made of like steel or iron or something like that they're about the same price can't wait for your next video God bless you trucking from Martinsville Indiana
I live in Wisconsin, actually Milton and edgerton is part of an area I cover for work but that hazy look was because of the Canada fires. It was like that for about 4 days straight.
Hey Becca Illinois got hit with some very servere thunder storms, the first part of the week, i work for the state of Illinois and most of our computer system were down from july 3 thru today the 7th. Drive safe and i will be watching you btw i am 619 watching your post lol
Hey Becca, That Love's is right next door to my old boss's house. Just south of it is where a brand new Kubota dealership was going to be built 3 years ago. They decided to put it on 45 in Corsicana instead. You couldn't miss it...west side of 45 across from Corsicana Fruit Cake store. I was gonna end my career with Kubota as parts manager, but. I had a stroke and had to take early retirement instead. I never got to see the inside of the building as I live in AZ. Roll safe!!!
Well girl. Wow girl you're 25 miles east of me. I left 10 miles west of hoods truck stop. Girl that tarping going to suck in the heat. When I lived in Northern California. I used to haul lumber to Phoenix Arizona. I had to tarp it because I didn't want the paper to rip. Two-by-fours crappy.. How to get there at 4 in the morning and talk that s*** and 115 degrees. And haul ass back to LA cuz there's no backhoes there.. Good luck girl..👍🏽🤙🏾🙋🏽♂️😊😎
Those electrical grimlins are at it again 😂. Do kinda miss the Volvo auto crane truck i was in, but definitely love this 18 speed short nosed pete im in now. Pulled Mont Eagle yesterday at between 45 and 50mph with a load 48' plate steel at about 45,000lbs. Either of the other trucks i been in would have been down to about 20 or 25mph if was lucky.
If you have paccar motors and trans it’s the stalk shifter and to reset it disconnect the batteries for 10mins I had the same this happen in my peterbilt
Becca, get your a 5th wheel puller, no more struggling to pull the pin, and, set your trailer brakes and go in reverse, that’ll take the tension of of the 5th wheel pin, 100% easier and getcha a 5th Wheel puller, makes your job a whole lot easier! Work smarter, not harder.
Seen all your videos luv zeke and Benjamin my name is Ben glad you work for good people don't drive a truck drive a van for work in New York city Manhattan drive safe
Back up if 5th wheel doesn’t release, you’ll let the tension off instead of struggling to pull the handle. Works out a lot easier :)
Might save tearing ligaments and rotator cuff in your shoulder too... Been off work for a month. Lucky me, MRI showed it was only a very small tear and is healing itself.

Right, that is the first thing most old school drivers back up to help release the tension. Also having that hook for the 5th wheel handle,. also works for sliding tandeems on a trailer.
That TA owner knows what it means to stay in business long term, him and his son are going places !
No kidding, If I owned a truck stop, I'd be rolling in the dough also.

Becca, Very proud of you. I think I saw you last week. But didn't have the time to talk. I love watching your videos. You are awesome! I hope that I see you on the road again!
When my pin want pull sometimes I just turn off the tractor brakes and leave the trailer brakes on. That usually takes the pressure off.
That's where my company get our equipment from Double C Canvas for many years

Great video Young lady . That looked amazing truck stop where the owner was cleaning your windshield . Safe travels watching from the U.K.
I always been a fan of trucking gadgets I always have a fifth wheel puller handy... backing up could also release tention.
Awesome upgrades remember took drivers just not like a job it's a lifestyle that we live to the fullest
If I ever did flatbed again I would only do it with a Conestoga wagon. Very simple roll it to load roll it to unload. Work smarter not harder.
Thanks for the tour, the open road looks so fun. Stay Safe❤❤❤

I go to Springfield Missouri about 4 times a year. I will have to stop and check that place out! I need a pic with the cool sign!
The smoke is from the Canadian fires. It's been like this in Minnesota all summer
Looks like that KW is still having issues. I've never driven an automatic KW, only 13 & 18's. Hopefully it all works out for you.
Like the pink straps cant wait to see the tarps ✌️✌️✌️
Safe travels trucking Becca
The other thing the 5th wheel pin puller does is keep you away from getting 5th wheel grease all over your s shirt!!!
Stay safe out there Becca, you rock!!!
Love watching you undo your straps

BigRigB 😎cca In the HAMMER-LANE!! Loved the video! You are amazing!❤

If you have paccar motors and trans it’s the stalk shifter and to reset it disconnect the batteries for 10mins I had the same this happen in my peterbilt
Yay Becca!! 🌹
You need to pick up one of those Bumblebee strap winders, absolute game changer!
What made her choose drop deck? Why not flatbed (normal) or rolltite or rack n tarp or dry van or reefer or anything else?
BRB is the best.
