I just want to thank you for your video's. They help me in times like these. I am 53 years old, single, a disabled veteran and battle with depression and anxiety. During the holidays is the worst. I feel super lonely and isolated. I commend you for traveling alone. I'm sure it must feel lonely at times also, but you always have a smile on your face and seem happy. Happy New Year and stay strong.

@truckhouselife Truck house life A suggestion for you to save money, is to find a remote heater core, one with a fan like they have as add ons for side by sides. Install it in the cabin and tap the hoses into your trucks coolant hoses. This would give you "free" heat while you idle and it would keep the cabin warm while you drive too. Plus it would lower your need for other fuel sources
One of the things I really appreciate about your videos is they are not just totally adds for sponsors all the time. I've stopped following a lot of people because they fall into the sponsorship trap where they stop producing what they started with and have 5 minutes of content every 20 minutes of advertisements. You have stayed true to yourself. That says a lot.

Have you ever thought of routing the heater from the truck into the tiny house on the back? I mean it's making the heat regardless when the truck is idling overnight. Might as well utilize it to help heat the cabin.
He needs a diesel engine heater that is plumbed into a cabin heater. Like every tractor trailer on the highway. Also, he needs to stop complaining about the cost of fuel to idle the truck, that is his entire cost of living now.
Thanks for taking us for the ride. Beautiful country. We have hot springs in our state but they've built bath houses around them. Stay safe and continue the adventure

It’s awesome You do this with a 1996 Ford. In the past three years, I’ve taken my 1998 Dodge Cummins on three round trips from my home in WA state to Wisconsin, 2 round trips to New Mexico, and California. It has 313,000 miles in it.

I have to laugh at some of the comments people have made on this post, this oldv7.3 and this old Ford will be running when some of the newer ones have laid down. Good by maintenance and this thing is good for more miles than most people can think about. I enjoy your post and travels , keep on truckin Tim !!!
Totally agree, Not a big Ford fan but that 97 7.3 with basic maintenance ( cheap) when the modern high powered trucks have spent many thousands on maintenance and are retired to the junkyard lol😊
@blaketaranto6427; why would Ford sponsor him? Ford doesn’t sell that truck or motor anymore and parts at their dealerships are hard to come by. If anything, he is taking sales away from their high tech twin turbo and electric trucks.
Your videos are great that’s why I have the bell turned on so I don’t miss any. Keep living the dream brother. I wish you nothing but the best in the New Year
"High idle" improves the oil pump's output pressure and flow, which is good for the engine's longevity, especially in cold conditions. Also the alternator's output increases, which is beneficial if the vehicle has a high electrical load, such as auxiliary batteries and heaters.
Timmy, thats exactly what i always said but guess i said it not perfectly as you had here. I grew up in Florida for most of my life. And it was sooo mundane. Couldnt see the sky. So many trees. Couldnt drive around your town in a decnet fashion cause way to many on the road. Everything congested. But, besides a hurricane on the way, it was same crap different day. And it made me loose my mind. I lived 10 in Colorado and three in Utah way 9,000 ft up. And now that was living! Survival. So when i got the chance i ran out to Wyoming living most off grid cept for electricity. And yeah. Being away from the city, middle of nowhere IS life. Actually my ears hurt cause its so silent out here.
Hey Timmy, love the videos bro! I have never been to Liard River hot springs, but it's on my list now! Next time you find yourself in Colorado check out Ouray Hot Springs! It is also built to be natural like Liard is with the gravel on the bottom. You'll be glad you did!

You don’t need to be in Alaska to be uncomfortable!
I've noticed that you drive without a jacket on when it's super cold. You should wear one incase you ever get into an accident and get knocked out.
Hey Timmy, love the videos bro! I have never been to Liard River hot springs, but it's on my list now! Next time you find yourself in Colorado check out Ouray Hot Springs! It is also built to be natural like Liard is with the gravel on the bottom. You'll be glad you did!
I would love driving in the snow out in the beautiful mountains like that I get lost in thought it's so beautiful out there maybe one day I can.ty for the beautiful video's Tim
Looks so peaceful. Looks very cold 🥶
Had a neighbor as a kid, he drove from PA to Alaska every year in a 68 Chevy flatbed truck.

Some years back I forgot to turn off my s10 blazer. Worked 10 hours and only burned 1/8 of a tank. 40 below outside 200 degree inside the blazer form the heater on high all day. 😂😂😂. I did have to replace the cat converter shortly after. Think it fill with moisture froze a bit and split the seems on it.
My favorite time of the year, long Alaska winter drives!
