I LOVE that you use bubble bath in this!!! Brilliant! My grandma used to use a pre-made foaming bath mix and then she just mixed them with Epsom Salts and colored them then she poured them in jars striping the colors. She often used old salad dressing bottles. We all loved them!! That was back in the early 80's. She would have had fun with all of the new things we do now like bath bombs!!
Awe. That’s creative for that time- they didn’t really have creative bath stuff at that time. She would’ve blossomed for sure in today’s creative bath world.
Hi i really enjoy watching your videos and was checking was checking out this video and notice about the exploding jars! I do love anything dealing with being pampered! And I love making them too! Just a heads up when combining baking soda & citric acid together will cause a gas to form (its normal) putting less in jar can help but I started using plastic zip seal bags. I can still layer them beautifully I do however take a needle a put a small hole by zip top or I will use small brown paper bags, the Kraft Treat Bags w/ center window and stickers. These also really are great ways for gift giving as you can see layered salts in the bags and look so cute on a bathroom counter!
Beautiful and what a lovely fragrance, I can smell them from here! I can't find your channel on RUclips on my tv can you please help me? I love to watch in full screen.
Thanks so much. This 1 is under content ID (copyright) claim right now for the music. Actually almost 30 of my videos are. & they either made me mute sections or replace sections with music that makes no sense…. So I apologize deeply for that!
I love this and have made it often now for grandkids. But it seems that each time it is used, the bath warmer looks dirty rather than seeing the colours dispersed. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi Dora lovely project thank you again for these amazing projects. Will it be okay to make and sell them I really love this and I want to try it, if it works then I want to sell it
I love your videos. I have a question about SLSA. I have heard that you can substitute it out and use goats milk powder in bath bombs. Can you do the same with your recipe and still get bubbles? Is there any room to add more bubble bath for more bubbles? We have very hard water. Thanks
I’ve read that too & It’s simply not true. Milk powder cannot create bubbles like a powder surfactant. Matter of fact, they don’t create any bubbles whatsoever!
can you add something to this like shae butter or almond oil or something to make it really silky to the skin or will that make the bubbles fade? If so when would we do that part
How do you make a child friendly bubble bath salt? because i was thinking that it would make it fun for not just my little niece but also for my elder brother and my sister-in-law to use as well.... thus making it safe for the whole family...... and also my niece doesn't like to take bath that often but when she came to my home in India from San Francisco, she wouldn't stop following me and she even followed me to my bed room where i practice my beaded jewelry skills and she saw that i had a bottle of body wash and she asked me, "What is this?" and that time i was also watching another bath product making channel's video and she saw that as well and asked me "What is this they are making?" and i explained to her..... and well she is a 4 year old, so she is always curious about everything.... 🙂
Love your channel but just have a technical question. If you’re using commercial bubble bath, would you have to list the ingredients of it on a label to sell? Thanks and keep up the lovely work ❤️
I got this question before & I don’t know. I don’t see my products so I don’t know How that goes. I’d assume “liquid bubble bath” listed as an ingredient would be fine, but I’m not sure!
According to my product safety assessment you have to list all ingredients from the commercial one as well as your own, just as you would do with any additives
Hi! I love your bubble salts. I have tried to make them 3 times. My white turns to an ivory color and I hate it. I want it to be white. Do you have any suggestions of what I’m doing wrong? Will you help me?
Hey Dora please hep lol I have made these three times now butt never get the bubbles you do and any bubbles I do get are gone with in two minutes I have fallowed everything to a T every time
@@CreativeBathLab I’ll try that was just afraid of adding to much also I read just last night that some ppl online sell less then 100% slsa I am looking for a better place to buy it. I just want ti tell you that you Inspired me and I been working for the last month making your products nine have turned out as good as yours but I am constantly learning from your videos so thank you so much
very nice, that bubble bath is liquid soap? and because of this the salts are loose powder when dried? do you add the epsom salt to each colored cup?thank you
ABSOLUTELY! But you can choose a different bubbler. The bubbling agents that I know of are SLSa - Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, SLS - Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, SCI - Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. These are all interchangeable at the same amounts & do the same exact thing, but have different chemical make-ups. Please research them before purchasing!
I took this from the description: "I was trying to make Spring & Easter bath salts. I scented these salts with “Cadbury Egg” (sweet smell with light hint of caramel & brown sugar) which was a mistake. I should’ve chosen a spring floral scent. Don’t get me wrong, I love the scent… it’s just not ideal for bright colorful rainbow bath salts. RECOMMENDATION: Choose a light floral scent or even a fruity scent!"
Question for you Dora. Are you adding the 1-2 cuos of salts to each divided colour? Or to batch before colour is sepearated out? Thank you! My daughter and I LOVE YOU VIDEOS! Also, what would be the switch to the recipe if adding naturasorb and does it change the 24 hour dry time?
Great question. I had to re-watch the video to remember. & now I do! I originally put 1 c of salts in the bubble powder but then felt like some colors needed a little more. So, most colors received approximately 1 1/2 c of salt! *** But, there’s no set amount of salt. This depends on how salty or how bubbly you want them; the less salt, the more bubbles! Hope this helps!
Hey Deborah. I don’t know honestly. I give the recipe just as I make it… I’ve seen comments tho about hard water might be a culprit. Also, higher water pressure = more bubbles
Can you add any type of bubble bath? I sell Avon so I have access to TONS of it! LOL. Could you also add some powdered whole milk to this? That would be heavenly!!!

If I were just making one color how much salt would I use? Is it 1-2 cups split into each color or 1-2 cups per color.
Thank you 😊

Hi Dora your work is so pretty I want to know since my country doesn't have bubble bath any substitute plz
Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa), sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), or sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI).
prepared salt I can use epson salt right??? Just wanna make sure
I add my SLSA first and my citric acid after adding wet ingredients
Omg I love this
Well thank ya!
Hey Dora, Can I use SLSa instead by chance?
When the bath salts are dried do they need to be covered ?
I realy love it the pouder color is it MICA??
THank you! No, I make my own, you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/ckJ-3kiC8eE/видео.html
Where do you find the 4 the dry ingredient you added & the 2nd wet
The sodium & The poly?
Can you suggest some ideas for stopping fragrance loss in bath salts???
Yes, natrasorb bath. Or tapioca starch. They not only hold more fragrance, but they keep salts dry
@@CreativeBathLab thanks
😉

How much do you typically use for one bath?
Bonjour Dora, j'aimerai réaliser la recette mais je n'ai pas de bain moussant liquide , est-ce obligatoire dans la recette?
I am prepping for a craft fair tomorrow. Exactly how long do salts need to dry? If I make them around noon, can I package them this evening?
Yeah that should be good
Hi Dora can you make the bubble powder without adding the salt
of course
can we dont use polysorbate 80 ?
I love the result
Thanks so much. Yes, it's in the recipe!

Are you using fragrances that contain vanilla? That could be causing your products to discolor.
can we skip sodium lauryl sulfoaceatate slsa ? or can you please let me know the benefit of it. love from India.
Well greetings to India. Can’t skip that. That’s the only ingredient you can’t skip; this is what gives the bubble bath salt, bubbles!
@@CreativeBathLab Thank you so much. means a lot that you have replied. #gladtohavementorlikeyou
That’s what I’m here for!!
So can you use Kosher salt or is it better to stay with Epson?
You can use any salt you want. I just usu use Epsom because of the shape of the salt + its relatively cheap
Question...you use starch I notice...any benefit over arrowroot powder?
Starch or natrasorb in this project is used to scent the salts! Arrowroot, while a great starch sub in most recipes, wouldn’t suffice here.
Do you let it dry for 12-24 hours AFTER you add the epsom salt or before that step?
After!

Hey there. No, it’s not hazardous at all. It’s an emulsifier. I don’t think it affects the foam at all.
