When the French invaded Vietnam. They first arrived to Vietnam 🇻🇳 was in Da Nang.
When the Americans invaded VN, they also first set their foots in Da Nang.
It’s used to have a huge American military base there. Da Nang is very famous with Americans.
I enjoyed your walk it’s nice to know I was born in a very beautiful country.
    Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing. I did not know about that specific history of Da Nang, but I did know there were several American bases throughout central Vietnam. I’m interested in learning more about Vietnamese history as I visit more places.

Vietnam and especially Danang always welcome open-minded and respectful foreign visitors . If you are not in that category of people so don't come here .

Great video! I spent several years traveling and teaching in China. Your comment about connecting with the local community, both expat and Chinese (in my case) really hit home with me. Heading to Da Nang in November!

@@aznesthirteen8168 Vietnamese food in the beach area is not as good as in the city, viet food in this area mainly serves foreign tourists, who don't really know what the original dish tastes like. The city center area mainly serves local people, there are many shops selling the same dish so the competition for taste is very high. You can ask the locals, or go to Con market
