Bee’s wax wraps are for molding around solid things like blocks of cheese, or a half an avocado…not bowl filled with liquid! I wipe mine flat on the counter with a clean damp Swedish dish cloth. You can reuse over and over, indefinitely!

We have been using the same beeswax wrap for over 8 years….we cover our leftovers and put them in the fridge. Why would you turn them upside down? You do you boo! But they have saved me money as I don’t purchase plastic wrap or foil.
To answer your question about turning it over, because things sometimes get tipped over, knocked down, or dropped by accident & when that happens you don't want it to make a mess so easily!
Every time I buy a new product, I ask myself "is this thing multi-purpose multi-use? And how many heads can I rate it? " Lol

I love beeswax wraps. Use them all the time. But you should crunch it with your hands to warm it up before you put it on the container. When you do it right they work great
For those of us with arthritis plastic containers are so much lighter when full of stuff to get down from overhead cupboards etc

I recently started to come across aluminum/stainless steel Tupperware. Super light and if you looks for specific ones they're microwave safe! I think these would be great for you, got them for my mom who has muscular dystrophy

I use beeswax wraps for sandwiches in my lunchbox. The ones I use have string attached so you can secure the wrap

@soelvia Someone in the comments said, "To ball up the wrap and hold it in your hand to soften the wax," then open it up & it'll seal better on your food/container. 😊
@soelvia they used to be expensive, I've seen them upwards of $30 for a pak of 3. Perhaps due to the beeswax. Great long term use instead of plastic wrap.
The bees wax is to save money and help the environment. You can use it to wrap sandwiches, homemade sourdough bread, homemade butter, and covering left overs.
Couldn't it cover store bought butter and such?

Idea for upping that white bowl. Paint gold around either the top top edge or around the edge on the outside with a thin brush ❤

Great ideas. Gold Rub & Buff would look good on the edges if you use it as a planter. I was also thinking about using soy wax & making a 5 wick candle. Very versatile piece. 😊

Just a thought... If you put a little piece of paper towel with vinegar on it in your bag of cheese it will not mold for a lot longer. Your welcome

I think she was using Tupperware as a catchall for reusable containers, but I find the glass too heavy to deal with as I age.

Girl!!!!!!! I went to daiso for the first time in my life Thursday! We had to come to Houston Texas to get our son’s surgery.. He had an MRI Wednesday then Thursday we had a day to do nothing with surgery Friday! So Thursday I went to daiso and had the time of my life!!!!! I bought literally everything! All because of your recommendations!

I just went to that store today while on vacation! Lots of goodies !

Omg that big bowl/plate that you can put in the oven. Reminds me of those Turkey Plates from the 70’s. My Dad always served the turkey on a bowl/plate just like that.

The amount of plastic wrap/ press and seal we use is insane! The beeswax cloth covers take some getting used to but we gotta help the planet for our kids and their kids etc! 🙏

Beeswax wraps are pretty great. They last forever. If they start to get too worn, you just heat them up in the oven to redistribute the wax. They are so much cuter and less wasteful than sandwich bags

Vivian! Ma'am, I love you LoL 😂 you did THE most with those reusable wraps. You know good and well you can't wrap some foil around the edge of a jar and tip it over! Not unless we're using extra to wrap the whole jar...twice. But, to be fair, I'm not a fan of them either. And "if you still can't think of anything, put your balls on it"! 😅😅😅😂😅

I’m completely switched to all glass . Even glass milk /juice jugs! Love it . Even though some foods/drinks come in plastic/cardboard, once switched into glass containers , things last longer and taste much better . I’ve not had to buy foil/seran or baggies in a long time . I use very little of those items . It’s a big $$$ saver . I do run my dishwasher more , but still a big savings since water is the only thing that hasn’t skyrocketed in price .

Nice bowl, Viv! Love it, it's gorgeous. Aldi has some good deals, but lately, since Amazon hit our country, I think 2022 (Belgium, we are late to the game), my goodness, I have only been going to Aldi for food. LOL Sooo many packages at my door. ROFL!

No no no😅 the beeswax wrap does not work for what you're trying to use it for. It works GREAT for cheese and wrapping up produce like cabbage, onion, carrots stuff like that. 😁
