A box grater is another option for leaf stripping.
Grew up in another country, but mum used to always serve this when she had people over for dinner. It was our "fancy" dessert. :D

I use a zester weekly. I use it for citrus, but also for parmesan cheese.
I really loved Viennetta back in the day. Different tastes and textures. Yummy. Wish I could get them now but my city doesn't even have an Aldi.

Everyone has at least one of "those" drawers Vivian. Kitchen, dining room, lounge, bedroom. If they say they haven't they're lying. We love Vivian.
Zesters also work great on limes to rim a Margherita with lime and sugar, orange zest for fish recipes and fresh nutmeg
Also, instead of the fancy tool, save your money as you can put the stem of parsley, cilantro or basil thru a hole on a cheese grater and pull it and the leaves will fall off into your bowl or dish
Great for chocolate bar shavings, and Parmesan cheese!

Pro tip for the micro plain. Use it upside down. It allows you to see the lemon/lime/orange and how much you are zesting off and you can catch all the zest and then collect it or push it off

The cover of the herb scissors has also holes to "skin" your herbs like rosemary etc. Don't need to buy the green "skinner". The wavy blade cutter can also be used to cut butter, just to make it look more bouchie.

I clean my windows and mirrors with rubbing alcohol. I never get streaks. I didn't like the noise of the machine 😂

They make a pumpkin w cream cheese roll….in the refrigerator section. Not the one with buttercream…not refrigerated.
When using the zester it is easier to control if you run the zester over the lemon instead of the lemon on the zester.

What did you think of the ceramic square fruit collanders? I was able to pick up the small pack 2 in a box with the blueberry artwork and then went to another Aldi to pick up the bigger collander with the same blueberry artwork..seemed to be the best selling over the all white, grey, strawberry...I like them for their functionality along with I can store them in the fridge nicely as well.

Omg! I loved Viennetta and yes it was expensive. I didn’t get it until I was an adult and only for special occasions.
I have those brushes but bought them on Temu and OMG they are a life saver ! Totally worth it
I use the zester for garlic. I like my garlic to melt into the food so by zesting it, it makes thin enough to do that. I also use it for parmesan cheese. Thinking the garlic cutter can also be used for boiled eggs like for egg salad or chicken salad.
I love Aldi! I use my zester for garlic cloves, so much easier than mincing, although you have to be careful when it gets down to the end, because I have come pretty close to mincing my fingers haha. Thanks for sharing Vivian!❤

OK Vivian I don’t need any of the little kitchen gadgets. I just, just got rid of probably two drawers of little kitchen gadgets that I thought I just had to have some of them are used, some of them still had their tags still on it so that meant I never touched it after I brought it home. I get that we like all these little gadgets from Aldi, dollar tree, Walmart! Let’s talk about gadgets that every day people will use. I know you get paid to influence and you’re great at it but maybe we need to influence less over all the junk that we really don’t need to be spending our money on considering how high everything is getting nowadays. You can spend a fortune on all the little gadgets.

Since you are a grandma now use the wavy cutter to make wavy shape "fries" out of watermellon, cantaloupe, papaya, melon, pineapple, apples and make sure to keep the hard shell intact so the fruit wavy fries can keep their shape so the children will just eat the fruit & toss the hard piece away👌🏻🍎🍏🍉🍈🍍😄 You can even do carrots, kiwi & cucumbers🥒🥕🥝🫶🏻😃

I'm a house cleaner for my job and I can honestly say use Thieves oil with water diluted. It works so much better than windex. Plus you can use it all around your house as a sanitizer/cleaner.

Herb scissors work surprisingly well. To get smaller flakes, just cut into the whole oiled and it gets smaller and smaller.
I use a zester for Parmesan and for white chocolate over deaserts
The zester can be used for garlic or onions too
