Going forward they would use these articulated hands with the appropriate corresponding units: MP1 for EFSF, and MP2 for Zeon. Question: since the majority of this kit seems to reuse the old stein parts. Is it possible to add in the new parts back onto the old ones as part of a hybrid kit?
Per the lore, the Sinanju Stein is the base MS which, when under transport, was hijacked by the Sleeves. They then tested it , putting the sleeve markings and then Full Frontal decided it is his suit so it changed to the Sinanju. This is based on the Unicorn timeline and not the Narrative timeline. Hope this helps. :)
Tecnically this part of the lore also applies to Narrative, the difference's that there were 2 Sinanju Steins being transported, but then it changes again, because it's said in Unicorn that the 2nd Sinanju was dismantled and used on Angelo's and Marida's MS, but in Narrative it's said that the 2nd Sinanju is the one Zoltan uses, which also makes sense since that Sinanju's missing some details Frontal's Sinanju had (aside from the Sleeves because branding 👀) and they didn't have time to repaint it
It isn't. The vast majority of the kit is the same. The majority of the runners are the same. Primary difference is basically just in some detail parts (like the sleaves markings). That's fine though since most negativity about the MG Sinanju kits is grossly overblown (just like it is with the RG Sinanju).
I still would think a full G-Gundam line would be better for master grade. Just because there are so many different gundams in the series. But i guess the unicorn and seed lines are just real money makers.

Red stickers are definitely disappointing | Anyway a few questions: | QUESTION 1: Once you are done building, are the leftovers still as bad as the old Stein? You pay extra for stuff you don't use after all. (And for the bigger box and shipping weight!!) QUESTION 2: Very curious about the new waist on the kit. I wonder if it gives you more movement than the older Sinanju's? There's a fairly elaborate waist joint that kinda gets locked in place by the original armor to prevent it from sagging backwards. QUESTION 3: The Narrative is a (sort of) prototype to the Nu Gundam while the Sinanju is a prototype to the Unicorn while also being heavily based on the Sazabi design wise. If possible please compare it with those two as well instead of just the Narrative. It makes more sense considering when it originally came out.
They more or less did. People can call this a "New Mg kit" for all they want but it ain't new to me when 80% of the kit is exactly the same as something that released a decade ago. This can be good for people without any prior versions, but on Bandai's part to even sell this as a "new kit" is just bandai greed and laziness in a nutshell.
Is it possible to make the Normal Sinanju Stein with this kit? I always liked the colors of the narrative version better. Also did they fix the waist/hip joints?
This is honestly kind of crazy. The standard MG Stein Narrative already includes the pieces for the entire MG Stein Ver Ka build, in addition to the parts for the Narrative version. I struggle to see the point of a Narrative Ver Ka, other than acknowledging that they did a quarter-ass job of making the MG Stein Narrative in the first place, (since the original Ver Ka kit that's automatically included is better anyway. I guess if you want an easier way of making the sleeves look good that's one thing, but still, I'd much rather have a good RG Sinanju Stein than a slightly improved MG Stein compared to the already decent MG kits that exist.)
How's quality of that 2022 fully articulate hands ? I feel terrified by only looking at it , have some trouble with my Nu ver ka lately, those fingers just don't want to stay put lol
So I have the OVA Sinanju MG with the Takumi Studio's conversion, the Ver Ka Stein, the MG Narrative Stein, and a Daban Ver Ka Sinanju. My question is, with having just about every MG Sinanju there is. Is this worth getting? Is there enough difference between this and the MG Narrative to warrant spending money on it?
I've seen people calling this a 1.5 version from the original MG OVA and I personally agree. The only thing thats new here are the color seperated parts and some new weapons.
3:44 With this MG MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) "Ver.Ka", I wouldn't be surprised if Bandai reuses this to make a 'new' MG MSN-06S Sinanju and give it a weird subtitle to differentiate it from the Ver Ka and OVA version. Maybe they'll call it Ver UC 0096? 8:43 In terms of retail released MGs, in 2022 we got the MS-09 Dom (2022) and MS-09R Rick Dom (2022). Both of those used the "Emotion Manipulator SP (MP2)". MG MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam "Ver.Ka" came out in 2023. It uses the fixed pose hands. MG MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) "Ver.Ka" uses the "Emotion Manipulator SP (MP1)"
I'm wondering if their's any new details on this kit versus the original Ver. Ka, specifically the connection for the fuel tanks on the back pack my model way back then had issues with the connection there
Just finished the original Stein Ver Ka (a thing of beauty!). But I have a question: on the bazooka runner (P) which seems the same in the new kit, what is the part P9 for??
LOL never. Bandai will never release anything that large in 1/100 to the public. The METEOR is already one of the smaller attachments we've seen in the series and those dont have 1/100 so erase that hope from your mind. 3rd parties might have it though but I'm doubtful since Neo Zeon is far too large
My question is how many runners are actually new to this kit? I would hope that there are a good amount although, as the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
I love the Sinanju and definitely want a 1/100 representation of it, but I’m in limbo cause I don’t know if I should just buy an existing one and paint it, or if they’re gonna release a 1.5 with color separated gold pieces
needless to say but its best to compare with the 1st release of the Sinanju and see how far it has come and the 1st Sinanju Stein to see whats new and whats unchanged.
My question would be for the end of the review. Is this kit actually worth it, seeing as how so many runners are recycled from older kits all the way back to 09 to now? Does this feel like enough of an upgrade to justify getting this rather than an older version?
Still wondeimring if you pre-ordered any armored core kits and are gonna review em. Not the 30 mm ones, but the ones that have been coming out one or two at a time each month, for the whole year so far
If you don't have any other versions, get this one. It'll save you some time. If you have the previous versions, dont waste your time and money for a couple of accessories, colour separation and bandai's crap waterslides.
Man, I was building my hg Destiny Gundam last night, and one of the posts on the waist that you attach the leg at the hip broke off, so I’m about to go to hobby lobby and see if they have another one.
8:43 I think those are from MGEX Strike Freedom. Cause I'm pretty sure all MG after it doesn't use pre-mold hand Also. Can you do a comparison between this kit and all previous Sinanju you had review

It includes a fixed hand for the gun.

In terms of retail released MGs, in 2022 we got the MS-09 Dom (2022) and MS-09R Rick Dom (2022).

Ka, specifically the connection for the fuel tanks on the back pack my model way back then had issues with the connection there
How much can you build of an original sinanju stein from leftover parts?
Just finished the original Stein Ver Ka (a thing of beauty!). But I have a question: on the bazooka runner (P) which seems the same in the new kit, what is the part P9 for??
It will be a MASSIVE shame if we do not get a Tallgeese III or a serpent custom Ver Ka in the next few kits.
Do any of the parts foreshadow a potential MG Neo Zeon MA coming out?
Definitely not
A Neo Zeong ? Are you crazy ?
I would hope that there are a good amount although, as the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
its not that much. only 3-4 runner are brand new
I love the Sinanju and definitely want a 1/100 representation of it, but I’m in limbo cause I don’t know if I should just buy an existing one and paint it, or if they’re gonna release a 1.5 with color separated gold pieces
is there a chin sticker like on the sinanju stein (which had color correcting stickers)
You saw the stickers, and no, only the eyes, lenses and some red on the thrusters
needless to say but its best to compare with the 1st release of the Sinanju and see how far it has come and the 1st Sinanju Stein to see whats new and whats unchanged.
First time I've seen a video come out "seconds ago"
Is it UV reactive what is the size comparison to the narrative Gundam ver. Kai, what are the upgrades, what are they comparison to the last Stein
How easy is it to use the old parts on the new version? Primarily because I want to customize this without destroying the sleeves parts.
Is it compatible with all the other version of Sinanju in every regards
My question would be for the end of the review. Is this kit actually worth it, seeing as how so many runners are recycled from older kits all the way back to 09 to now? Does this feel like enough of an upgrade to justify getting this rather than an older version?
Still wondeimring if you pre-ordered any armored core kits and are gonna review em. Not the 30 mm ones, but the ones that have been coming out one or two at a time each month, for the whole year so far
Aside from the sleeve markings not being stickers, is there any other reason one would prefer this over the previous Narrative Version?
Having the zoltan pilot figure and axes. Also waterslides markings (rather than sitckers in 2019 kit) being included in the box.
If you don't have any other versions, get this one. It'll save you some time. If you have the previous versions, dont waste your time and money for a couple of accessories, colour separation and bandai's crap waterslides.
Sorry to get off topic but is there a chance you'll review the einta industries sky defender?
Watching from philippines.I always watching your vlog. I love gundam also.
I just built the older Ver Ka stein and the hands drove me mad. Constantly losing fingers.
Question for the review: does its gun still work with the Sazabi ver ka like in the normal mg?
with more that 1 MG Sinanju steins, you can duel weild practically everything. "Full Armour" Sinanju Stein?
Man, I was building my hg Destiny Gundam last night, and one of the posts on the waist that you attach the leg at the hip broke off, so I’m about to go to hobby lobby and see if they have another one.
Since i dont have any MG stein versiona ill probably pick this one up at some point
Really love your content :) !!!!!!
I forgot how many new parts the Og stein got and even the non-ver ka narrative ver.
Does this come with the regular ver.ka's extra parts like the previous narrative?
Do some size comparison with the MG Phenex and MGEX Unicorn. Onigaishimas
They got it right the first time... all the Sinanju MGs are fine if you don't manhandle the things...
This is like the third sinanju stein
As someone currently working on a pg banshee norn I just gave one thing to say…
PERFECT GRADE SINANJU WHEN, BANDAI????
Virgin Frontal Chad Zoltan.
Okay, I'll just get another narrative ver ka I guess
8:43 I think those are from MGEX Strike Freedom. Cause I'm pretty sure all MG after it doesn't use pre-mold hand
Also. Can you do a comparison between this kit and all previous Sinanju you had review
size comparison with the RG Sazabi please
