    Dr Khalid Jamil was an Assistant Professor Urology at Sheikh Zayed Hospital and Kidney Transplant Center, Lahore. In 2003, he was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and High Blood Pressure and was prescribed oral medications, exercise & diet control. In 2016, he was put on insulin due to increase in urea creatinine and retinopathy. The deteriorating health led Dr. Khalid on a quest to find answers. He started intensively studying Type 2 Diabetes, its’ prevention and cure. He consulted doctors but none were able to give answers to his questions. Then finally, he stumbled upon a RUclips video of Dr. Jason Fung, that video proved to be a life changing moment in Dr. Khalid’s life. Dr. Jason Fung is a Canadian nephrologist who claimed 100% cure and reversal of Diabetes via intermittent fasting and some lifestyle changes.
    A doctor himself, Dr. Khalid extensively studied Jason Fung’s theories. Now, since 2018, he is on a ketogenic diet and doing intermittent fasting with walk and exercise. He is off the medicines now and his creatinine levels are also back to normal.
    Dr. Khalid is no longer practicing Urology and has instead made it his mission to educate people on social media about what he has learned & practiced so that they are also able to cure 80-90% of all diseases caused by Insulin Resistance.
    Dr. Khalid is starting weekly lectures on Facebook & RUclips on curing Kidney Problems,
    Diabetes and Blood Pressure through Ketogenic Diet and intermittent fasting.

    In case of low carb diet our brain uses our own body proteins to convert them into carbs so if we don’t take proteins we will lose muscle mass. Brain takes 30 % energy from ketones and the rest from auto phagy of our own muscles . The proteins we eat will repair those muscles that is why in keto diet there is no increase in BUN . It is rather good to eat more proteins as you said . In insulin resistant people the fat in adipose cells is mostly inflamed one and is with macrophages so it is hard to derive ketones from it that is why we get stuck at some level but keeping low carb decreases production of insulin and reverses this inflammation so after some time weight loss again begins. You have very brightly described to take fats which are within meets. As we take butter or ghee directly in coffee or drinks it passes straight away into duodenum and gets less exposure to bile acids so is less digested. While fats within beef or fish are mixed with proteins so they slowly pass through duodenum and get more exposure to bile juices and are highly digested. Thank you dear sir for explaining this.

    Allah apko himat da. Very informative. You have told unrefined“sarson ka oil” for deep fry only. Routine cooking of meat, vegetables & egg fry ka lia bhi Sarson ka oil use kr skty han? Zaitoon ya coconut oil bht costly ha & original milta bhi nae ha small cities ma. Desi ghee ya desi butter bht limited available ha & is not enough to cook.
